Job Description

Nema Health is a high growth PTSD and trauma care startup led by clinicians and survivors. Our mission is to guide trauma survivors at every step of their journey towards healing, starting first with the remote, intensive delivery of cognitive processing therapy (CPT). 


Nema is seeking a Product Manager to join our product team. At Nema, the Product function operates as a strategic partner across teams in order to build and deliver the exceptional tech-enabled trauma care. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for delivering tech-enabled solutions that solve user needs while aligning with Nema’s business objectives and priorities. You will run the entire lifecycle of product-driven experiments, including: ideation, prioritization, scoping, shaping, implementation, analysis, and systematization. 


This role is highly cross-functional and will collaborate with internal stakeholders from Marketing, Growth, Clinical, Care Operations, and Billing/RCM teams, as well as engineering/dev teams from third-party software vendors. This role requires strategic prioritization, stakeholder collaboration, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Product Manager will report to Nema’s Head of Product and will have the opportunity to cultivate their career in product for tech-enable healthcare service businesses. 


Responsibilities 

  • Partner with the Head of Product and cross-functional teams to define and prioritize the product roadmap that balances short-term needs with long-term strategic goals
  • Lead the product development lifecycle from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with company strategy and customer / user needs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Growth, Clinical, CareOps, and Billing/RCM), Nema leadership, and third-party software (e.g., Healthie, Morf Health, HubSpot) 
  • Drive continuous improvement in our product development and QA processes
  • Serve as the care team’s primary point of contact for product onboarding, ongoing training, and bug triage & management 
  • Conduct and analyze quarterly care team product feedback to identify strengths and areas for improvement
  • Identify, implement, and manage product management tools, processes, and best practices to enhance product team efficiency
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and report product performance
  • Create high-quality documentation to ensure clarity for cross-functional partners and stakeholders

Qualifications

Required 

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management or a related field (e.g., an operational role that intersects regularly with product managers)
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically 
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences of all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and complexities with self-direction


Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare (preferably digital health/tech-enabled services)
  • Experience in early-stage startups
  • Passion for mental health and caring for survivors of trauma 




Nema Health is a seed stage company backed by top healthcare VCs. This is a full time, exempt, and salaried position. Compensation will be determined by the candidate's experience. The compensation package will include a $115,000 to $145,000 salary, competitive equity, PTO, a healthcare stipend, an annual work-from-home productivity stipend, and paid parental leave. The Nema Health team is located all over the country and this is a fully-remote position. Candidates can be located anywhere in the United States. Infrequent travel for company and team offsites and events may be required.
