About the role
Our technical team is looking for a Sales Engineer with strong technical and communication skills. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with a proven track record of experience working with AVD conducting deployments, troubleshooting and technical demos. You’ll dive right in and be an instrumental member of our technical team and will be exposed to the Nerdio platform and our internal and external partners.
What you'll do
- Drive Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR):
- Collaborate with the dedicated Sales team to identify opportunities and drive MRR growth.
- Utilize your technical expertise to showcase the value of Nerdio's AVD solutions and secure new business.
- Deploy AVD Environments:
- Utilize Nerdio Manager for MSP to deploy AVD environments for customers.
- Ensure smooth and efficient implementation, meeting customer requirements and timelines.
- Customer Support:
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout their AVD deployments and beyond.
- Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct Technical Product Demos:
- Deliver engaging and informative technical product demos to potential customers.
- Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value proposition of Nerdio's AVD solutions.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- High sense of urgency and ability to deliver results within short cycle times.
- Adaptability to handle uncertainty and embrace change.
- Experience conducting technical product demos.
Required experience
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably in the technology or IT industry.
- Strong understanding of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) market and knowledge of their needs and challenges.
- Technical expertise in cloud computing, specifically Microsoft Azure, and understanding of IT infrastructure, virtualization, and networking concepts.
- Experience in delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to clients.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate with sales teams and contribute to sales strategies and proposals.
- Familiarity with sales processes, including qualification, discovery, solution design, and closing deals.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within MSP organizations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address technical challenges or objections raised by clients.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and developments in cloud computing and MSP industry.
Preferred experience
- Previous experience working as a sales engineer or technical sales representative within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms and technologies, such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of industry-specific compliance and security standards relevant to MSPs.
- Experience in providing technical training and enablement to MSP partners.
- Understanding of competitive landscape and ability to position Nerdio's solutions against competitors.
- Experience with CRM software and sales tools for tracking and managing customer relationships.
