About the role


Nerdio is seeking a strategic, people-first Director of Technical Account Managers (TAMs) to lead and scale our global TAM function. In this high-impact role, you will manage a team of people managers and oversee a growing organization of Technical Account Managers who are responsible for driving product adoption, value realization, and expansion across Nerdio’s install base.

This role is ideal for a proven CS or TAM leader who excels in customer strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and leading through others. You will be instrumental in shaping how Nerdio delivers technical guidance and proactive account management at scale across a diverse, global customer base..


What you'll do

  • Lead and mentor a team of people managers overseeing global TAMs across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Drive alignment between TAM efforts and broader Customer Success, Product, and Sales strategies.
  • Develop and execute playbooks for adoption, expansion, and value realization tailored to various customer segments.
  • Collaborate with Product and Support teams to relay customer feedback and influence the roadmap.
  • Establish KPIs and performance benchmarks for TAMs, with a focus on customer outcomes and renewals.
  • Ensure technical excellence and consistency in customer engagement across your team.
  • Oversee complex customer escalations and executive-level relationships where needed.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, learning, and customer centricity across the TAM team.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and career development for the global TAM organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or Solutions Architecture roles, with minimum 3+ years in people leadership.
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling global teams focused on technical adoption and account growth.
  • Deep understanding of cloud/SaaS technologies; experience in Microsoft Azure, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), or IT partner ecosystems.
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to influence both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical and process-oriented, with a data-driven approach to team performance and customer impact.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The pay range for this role is:

200,000 - 220,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))
