About The Role

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be working directly with our strategic enterprise customers to identify opportunities where Nerdio can help our customers and partners meet their objectives by accelerating the delivery and adoption of Microsoft DaaS technologies.

We need relationship builders with a deep understanding of the value that VDI and wider EUC technologies deliver to our customers. You’ll focus on strategic, high-impact opportunities across the largest organisations in Australia and New Zealand, growing our customer base in close partnership with Microsoft and our channel partners.

With Nerdio’s technologies built on the foundations of the Microsoft ecosystem, an understanding and alignment with Microsoft vision and strategy around Modern Work, Virtualisation, Cloud and AI are essential.

Our ideal account executive has experience with CXO selling, is able to engage with key stakeholders and build cross functional relationships across an organisation and is a proven trusted adviser across large enterprises.

A commercial mindset, paired with integrity and an entrepreneurial spirit is key, as thinking creatively and challenging the status quo is how we operate. 


What You'll Do

  • Partnership & Pipeline Development: Engage with enterprise customers, as well as collaborate with Microsoft and our channel partners, to identify opportunities where Nerdio can offer solutions. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to drive business growth and increase Nerdio's market presence. Leverage your understanding of VDI and EUC technologies to position Nerdio as the preferred solution for Microsoft DaaS deployments.

  • Sales Management: Manage a portfolio of opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management. Drive the sales process from lead qualification to closing deals, meeting or exceeding sales targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and exceed customer expectations.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to VDI and EUC. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and drive strategic decision-making. Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to enhance Nerdio's offerings and go-to-market strategies. 

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of sales success in Australia, preferably in the technology industry, with experience in VDI or SaaS sales.
  • Strong understanding of VDI and EUC technologies, including Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 and the competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.


Required Experience

  • A minimum of 10 to 12 years' experience in sales, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, including meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Previous experience working within an enterprise global sales team and/or aligned to a regional sales territory.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and manage a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools for managing sales pipelines and tracking performance.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience in selling cloud computing, IT services, or software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Experience of partnering with the Microsoft sales team to co-sell Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies.
  • Previous experience in managing remote or distributed sales teams.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Experience in building and maintaining partnerships or channel relationships.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve their targets.

The pay range for this role is:

200,000 - 250,000 USD per year (Remote (Sydney, New South Wales, AU))
