Who are you

Educators, communicators, and storytellers. You are someone who moves fast, loves simplifying the complex, and believes that technology is only as powerful as the people who know how to use it.

About nesto and Nesto Cloud

Nesto is Canada’s leading provider of mortgage technology and financing solutions. We manage over $73B in mortgages with a team of over 1,000 members nationwide. You will be working on Nesto Cloud, Canada’s most advanced cloud platform, ensuring our partners (advisors and underwriters) unlock the full potential of our technology.

Why we are hiring

The Product Enablement team is the critical bridge between our technology and the people who use it every day. To ensure our partners achieve maximum success with the Nesto Mortgage Cloud, we are hiring Product Adoption & Enablement Specialists. Your role isn't just about writing manuals; it's about building the knowledge engine that drives user proficiency and reduces the friction between a new feature and full mastery.

Work location and time zone

We welcome applications from candidates located in Ontario or Quebec. This is a remote position, and core working hours are based on the Eastern Time Zone (EST). Additionally, we are looking for someone that has professional-level fluency in both English and French, with the ability to draft technical content and lead business communications.

What success in this role looks like

You are the architect of our client facing educational ecosystem. Your success is measured by your ability to make our technology feel intuitive. This results in a world class self service knowledge base, high satisfaction scores on training, and a measurable decrease in "how-to" related support inquiries.

What you’ll be doing

  • Content Architecture: Design and maintain a library of high impact materials (interactive user guides, how-to videos using Loom or Camtasia, e-learning modules, and strategic release notes).
  • High Impact Training: Lead and deliver engaging live training sessions (virtual) for new client onboarding and continuous education on new features.
  • Proactive Release Enablement: Fully integrate into the product development lifecycle. Partner with PMs and Engineers to master new features and publish all enablement content one week prior to launch.
  • Persona Mastery: Develop a deep understanding of unique user workflows (like a mortgage advisor vs. an underwriter) and tailor enablement content to their specific needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively gather feedback from clients and analyze support trends to identify knowledge gaps and proactively refine our training engine.

Who we are looking for

  • 3 or more years of experience in technical writing, instructional design, or corporate training, specifically for a B2B SaaS product.
  • Exceptional Communication: A real talent for "de-coding" complex technical logic into simple, user friendly language.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Professional-level fluency in both English and French, with the ability to draft technical content and lead business communications.
  • Technical Aptitude: Proficiency with modern documentation and training tools like Zendesk Guide, Confluence, Loom, Camtasia, or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Self Starter Mentality: Highly organized and proactive. You are capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, agile environment.
  • Audience Empathy: A strong ability to step into the user's shoes and design content that addresses their specific pain points.

You shouldn't apply if

  • You prefer a passive role where you document requirements without being responsible for the actual educational outcome.
  • You are not comfortable being the "on-camera" or live voice expert during client training sessions.
  • You prefer working on internal support rather than high stakes, partner facing enablement.

Interview Process

  • Recruiter Screen (30 min)
  • Discovery Call with the hiring manager (30 min)
  • Take-home Assignment followed by a Presentation and Q&A (60 min)
  • Final Non-Technical Interview with two additional stakeholders (30 min)
  • Reference checks and Offer

The Reward

  • The A-Team: Work alongside high-performing talent in the industry.
  • Accelerated Growth: The slope of your learning curve here will be vertical. You will touch more production systems in one year than you would in five years at a bank.
  • Top-Tier Coverage: Premium benefits plan fully paid by nesto, including comprehensive insurance and unlimited access to telemedicine and mental health services for you and your family.
  • Rest & Recharge: 4 weeks of vacation to ensure you stay at peak performance.
  • Best-in-Class Tools: Access to the resources and tech you need to execute without friction.
  • Working framework: the environment that makes you productive and enables teamwork.

Diversity and Inclusion

At nesto, we believe that creativity and collaboration are the result of a diverse team. We are committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and we strongly encourage women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and individuals with disabilities to apply. We are committed to creating a workplace that is inclusive and welcoming to all.
