About this Position


Reporting to the Co-CEOs, Edward Solomon and Alex Solomon, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the company's strategic finance initiatives to develop financial approaches that align with corporate objectives and growth targets. This role will serve as a key partner in short and long-term financial strategy and planning, providing leadership on activities that optimize and manage the financing of the company’s business plan and support investment decisions.


The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead all corporate and associated finance functions across the enterprise. As the company’s senior financial officer and a member of the executive management team, CFO will partner as a trusted confident and business strategist with the Board, CEO, private equity sponsor, and their peers across the C-Suite.


The ideal candidate will establish, implement, and maintain the financial strategy, plans and policies of the company, including fiscal controls, preparation and interpretation of financial reports, and the safeguarding of the company's assets. Leveraging a deep knowledge of and experience in professional and business services, she/he will develop and maintain overall finance and accounting policies and controls, establish and maintain good relations with the company’s investment partners, drive long-range planning, and advise management on all financial affairs.



Job Responsibilities


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and talent development for the finance and accounting organization.
  • Translate the company’s financial strategies into tactical plans, reporting requirements, procedures, and processes.
  • Monitor, analyze, and forecast the Company’s financial status, identifying, and implementing measures that will generate maximum profitability, and developing financial reporting packages for management and ownership.
  • Implement processes to drive critical analysis on the performance of the business; enable all aspects of data-driven decision-making.
  • Fully engaged in M&A activity and integration, support M&A processes including strategic modeling and ROI analysis.
  • Play a critical role in capital allocation decisions and provide insight into and review of investments, including financial modeling and analysis of financial statements and projections to identify areas for financial improvement.
  • Conduct detailed reviews and challenges of financial strategy of each of the business units, including assessment of current and future financial plans and goals.
  • Communicate, engage, and interact with the Board of Directors, CEO, LMP, and Executive Leadership Team as a strategic business partner.
  • Provide direction and management for the company’s financial planning as well as timely, accurate, and relevant financial information.
  • Builds and manages best in class financial operations (e.g., close process, collections, payroll, A/P, A/R) that can function at scale as the business grows both organically and inorganically. Must demonstrate a knowledge of what “great” looks like.
  • Provides strong FP&A support to business leaders to help them understand the drivers, trends, explain performance, and link actions to desired results
  • Analyze long-range economic trends and project their impact on future growth in revenue and market share.
  • Exercise fiduciary duty to the Company and other key stakeholders by ensuring significant returns to benefit initiatives.
  • Optimize relationships with banks, lenders, and investors.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and coordinate tax reports and planning.
  • Delivers financial results accurately and in a timely manner with proper financial controls in place.

The new CFO will be a strategic, operationally business-oriented CFO with a proven track record of driving change, controls, and financial results in a company within professional services, ideally of similar scale. The ideal candidate must have a strong grasp of how financials function within this environment and be able to strategically drive growth, operational efficiency, increased business results, and fiscal soundness. A highly collaborative and credible leader who will work hard to understand Net at Work’s culture and business, the CFO will build deep-seated relationships each step along the way. The CFO will partner well with the Executive team and will operate as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CEO and business leaders.

 

The CFO will bring experience managing and building a high performing team. Experience with KPIs is highly preferred, as well as experience within an environment with multiple different business units. The CFO will be comfortable with ambiguous data and will use a historical and hypothesis driven approach to deliver insights and look around the corner. The CFO will be inherently proactive, always curious in her/his desire to ensure the Board, CEO, and the rest of the company and their investors are situated for sound and strategic growth. Experience with private equity is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits


Base salary range: TBD.


This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
