About This Role

We’re looking for a Paid Media Strategist who wants full ownership of performance marketing.

This is a hands-on, execution-driven role. You won’t be managing agencies or handing creative off to a design team. You’ll concept, write, design, launch, optimize, and report on campaigns across LinkedIn and Google Ads, with support from marketing leadership but without a large creative team behind you.

You’ll build and scale demand generation programs tied directly to pipeline. That means developing audience strategy, writing compelling ad copy, designing static creative in Canva or similar tools, structuring campaigns, running experiments, and translating performance data into clear next steps.

If you enjoy building from scratch, testing ideas quickly, and owning outcomes end-to-end, you’ll thrive here.

This Role Is Not For You If

  • You primarily managed agencies rather than executing campaigns yourself
  • You relied on a creative team for ad copy and design
  • Your background is primarily agency-based or B2C-focused and you have not owned in-house B2B lead generation campaigns
  • You prefer strategy over hands-on execution

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning
    • Develop paid media strategies that align with corporate demand generation goals and campaigns.
    • Recommend channel mix, budgets, and timelines across platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, Google, and others).
    • Identify opportunities for top-, mid-, and bottom-funnel activation to fuel lead generation.
  • Execution & Optimization
    • Manage day-to-day campaign execution, including setup, targeting, creative rotation, and budget pacing.
    • Continuously optimize campaigns for CTR, CPL, and conversion rate performance.
    • Oversee A/B testing and experiment design to improve outcomes.
  • Audience Targeting
    • Build, refine, and manage paid audience segments, including CRM-based lookalikes, retargeting pools, and intent-driven lists.
    • Collaborate with the data/automation team to maintain clean audience segmentation and tracking through Marketo, ZoomInfo, and GA4.
  • Collaboration
    • Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success, to align growth strategies with business objectives.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to develop high-performing ad creatives tailored to target audiences.
  • Reporting & Insights
    • Produce actionable campaign dashboards using Looker Studio, GA4, and platform analytics.
    • Report on MQLs, lead quality, traffic patterns, and ROI by platform.
    • Translate insights into recommendations for future testing and scaling.

What Success Looks Like

  • Decreased CPL and CPC through better targeting and experimentation.
  • Increased conversion rates via optimized messaging and landing experiences.
  • Improved marketing attribution and campaign efficiency through consistent reporting.
  • Fully optimized ad budget tied directly to pipeline metrics.
  • Collaboration and speed in campaign execution

Job Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience in paid media, with at least 2+ years in B2B tech, SaaS, or consulting environments.
  • Demonstrated success running full-funnel lead generation campaigns (awareness → nurture → conversion).
  • Deep platform knowledge: LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business Suite, YouTube, Google Ads.
  • Strong understanding of GA4, Looker Studio, Excel/Sheets, UTM frameworks, and A/B testing.
  • Experience integrating paid campaigns with Marketo or other marketing automation tools.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of the trends and technologies influencing the online advertising industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail; exceptional technical and problem-solving skills; strategic mindset.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • An undergraduate degree is required.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with intent data tools like ZoomInfo.
  • Familiarity with landing page optimization.
