About this Position


The People Partner will be an integral member of the People and Learning team in support of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) with execution of all aspects of human resources centered around developing, enabling, engaging and retaining Net at Work’s most valuable asset…. our people.  This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring individual to work in a fast-paced corporate HR environment and actively participate in all facets of human resources management including operations, compliance, employee engagement, talent management, HRIS, as well as training & development. The ideal candidate is eager to continue building upon his/her HR skills and knowledge and learn the best practices in all HR disciplines.



Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


New Employee On boarding

  • Create offer packages.
  • Set-up and process background check screening.
  • Coordinate new employee communications and follow-up.
  • Orientation set-up, coordination, delivery and follow-up.
  • Set-up new employee and complete benefits enrollment in HRIS.
  • New hire forms collection and processing including I-9 processing.
  • Create and distribute weekly new hire report for other relevant shared services groups.


Employee Off boarding

  • Create offer packages.
  • Preparing termination package.
  • For voluntary termination, schedule and/or conduct exit interview meeting, collect company equipment.
  • Process termination and benefits.
  • COBRA administration.
  • Distribute notification to other relevant shared services groups.


Employee Relations

  • Listening, empathizing, coaching, counseling and recommending courses of action (employee initiated, HR-Initiated, Manager initiated, conflicts between employees and organizational changes.


Day to day HR Administration

  • Process status changes.
  • Create bi-weekly payroll update report.
  • Process compensation changes, incentive compensation and bonus payments.
  • Maintain employee files (paper and electronic).
  • Complete employment verification requests.
  • Maintain HRIS system.
  • Review and take appropriate action on daily mail received.


Employee Handbook, Policies and Procedures

  • Become proficient in all aspects of Employee Handbook for main and sister companies.
  • Maintain changes for Employee Handbook for future updates/releases.
  • Update policies and distribute to employees as required by Management.
  • Document and keep updated all HR procedures. 


Reporting/HRIS

  • Understand how to utilize and create reports in HRIS, company and carrier systems
  • Regular and ad hoc reports on employee data, benefits enrollment, etc.
  • Coordinate quarterly 401K open enrollment communication
  • Administer FMLA and unpaid leaves and carious benefits related to those leaves

 

Company / Employee Events and Communications

  • Create and distribute communications for HR initiatives, events and programs.
  • Participate in employee event planning committees.
  • HRIS – regular updates and maintenance of employee info pages.


Compliance

  • Completion of required government agency annual reporting (EEO-1, OSHA, ACA, etc.)
  • Ongoing education of updated labor law and healthcare legislation
  • Maintain required compliance poster requirements  


Employee Events and Wellness Program

  • Participate in the planning and execution of employee events and wellness program initiatives to improve employee engagement and promote healthy lifestyles.   


Benefits Programs, Open Enrollment, and Leave Administration

  • Become proficient in our various plan design and total rewards offerings.
  • Support day-to-day administration of medical, dental, vision, 401K, HRA, FSA, life insurance, voluntary benefits, utilizing HRIS.
  • Participate in annual renewal process, including compensation.
  • Coordinate open enrollment periods for all benefits programs including meeting coordination, HRIS setup and finalizing employee enrollment data in HRIS.
  • Workers Compensation – file initial claims.
  • Benefits Requests – process qualifying event changes, ad hoc benefits questions, problems and research.
  • Maintain Wrap document and related Summary Plan Descriptions for all benefits.
  • Manage electronic data feeds with carriers.   


Job Requirements


Knowledge, skills and experience required for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum: concentration in Human Resources or Industrial/Organizational Psychology preferred; master’s degree in these areas a plus
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of Office 365 /MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Notes, Teams, Outlook)
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in human resources in a corporate environment in a mid-size or larger company
  • Information Technology and/or Professional Services company experience a plus
  • Expert attention to detail
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Service-oriented mindset and approach to employee interactions

Compensation and Benefits


Base salary range: $115,000-$130,000.

This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
