About this Position

Net at Work is looking to hire an Acumatica Consultant with a strong finance-focused background. The Acumatica Consultant’s role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions — particularly within accounting and financial operations — as well as assist with upgrades, training, and support for the Acumatica solution.


The Consultant works directly with customers to identify business requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to allow technical solution proposal development and deployment, leveraging both functional ERP knowledge and financial acumen. This role requires the ability to apply accounting and finance principles to system design, reporting, and process optimization. The consultant will also use problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of Acumatica system investments.


Additionally, the Consultant will work with other consultants, customer service, and sales team to develop and close services projects and maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and ease of on-going support, particularly as it relates to financial workflows and ERP financial modules.


Job Responsibilities

  • Serves a consultant for clients Acumatica implementations, leading project teams in defining, planning, and implementing the Acumatica solution, with a strong emphasis on financial and accounting processes.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of ERP business software, particularly financial modules and accounting workflows.
  • Have professional exposure in business workflow, including finance, accounting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Have experience with product implementations, preferably with a focus on finance-related ERP modules.
  • Project management experience in utilizing appropriate tools and resources to document processes, timelines, and responsibilities, including financial process mapping and controls where applicable.
  • Provide friendly phone, on-line, and on-site consulting services for our clients using Acumatica software (ERP), with particular support for finance and accounting teams.
  • Works with customers to achieve the best solutions to maximize product use, benefits, and functionality, especially within financial operations and reporting.
  • Develops and executes a challenging and interesting self-education and professional development plan, including continued learning in ERP finance best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Travel 20% required.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or computer science, information technology, quality assurance, or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 plus years of experience using Acumatica ERP solutions with demonstrated experience supporting finance or accounting functions.
  • 3 plus year experience implementing Acumatica ERP solutions, preferably including Financial Management modules.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes and requirements in the ERP world, including but not limited to distribution and/or manufacturing with a functional competency in accounting, financial management, general ledger, budgeting, reporting, quote to cash, procure to pay, operations, e-commerce or CRM functions highly desired.
  • Experience in providing support related to product demonstrations and assisting in needs analysis and solution recommendations, particularly for finance stakeholders.
  • Experience with project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, business process mapping and end-to-end process experience, including financial workflows and controls.
  • Experience in utilizing defined and structured implementation processes and project management methodologies desired.
  • Experience with Manufacturing, Field-Service, Project/Construction, Payroll modules a plus — with Financial Management module experience strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $110,000 to $120,000.

This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
