About this Position


Net at Work is seeking a driven, industry-savvy Account Executive to join our ERP Practice, specializing in selling Sage ERP solutions—with a particular focus on the construction and real estate (CRE) sector. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional who understands the unique challenges of the construction industry and can position Sage ERP as a solution to drive operational and financial success.

You will be responsible for driving new business by identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities, collaborating closely with internal teams including consulting managers, solution engineers, and practice directors.



Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and engage construction and CRE companies through cold outreach, networking, and targeted campaigns. Work closely with a BDR to build a high-quality pipeline within the construction space.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach and discovery through demonstration, proposal, and contract negotiation—focused exclusively on clients in construction and real estate.
  • Partner with Solution Engineers to deliver compelling product demonstrations that speak directly to the financial, project management, and compliance needs of construction businesses.
  • Lead in-depth discovery calls to uncover construction-specific requirements such as job costing, project billing, union payroll, subcontractor management, and field operations.
  • Develop and present customized solutions using Sage ERP (particularly Sage Intacct Construction), aligning with each client’s workflows, pain points, and growth goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to construction executives (CFOs, Controllers, Operations leaders), helping them modernize their ERP systems for better efficiency and reporting.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to align industry-specific strategy with Net at Work’s broader service offerings.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and CRM hygiene to ensure strong visibility into pipeline health and deal status.


Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience selling ERP solutions (ideally Sage), with a strong understanding of the construction or CRE industry—including software needs related to job costing, project management, compliance, and field service.
  • Proven experience in complex, consultative B2B sales within the mid-market ERP space. Sage Intacct Construction experience is a strong plus.
  • Consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota in a new business development role.
  • Ability to align construction-specific business needs with ERP solutions in a way that resonates with both financial and operational stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-level audiences and leading multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track and manage sales activity.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience required.

Compensation and Benefits


Base salary range: $75,000 - $110,000.

This position is also eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
