Position Overview

We are looking for a driven and collaborative Software Engineer – Backend to help develop and maintain key services and APIs that underpin our data security platform. You will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions that empower customers to discover, classify, and secure critical data assets.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement REST or GraphQL APIs to manage data discovery and protection workflows.
  • Build modular, high-performance microservices for data processing and orchestration.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver features on schedule.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design decisions.
  • Integrate with relational or columnar databases, optimizing queries for speed and efficiency.
  • Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies to proactively maintain system health.
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, contributing to continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional backend development experience in languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, or Node.js.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, concurrency patterns, and API design best practices.
  • Familiarity with database management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or columnar solutions) and query optimization.
  • Experience with containerized workloads (e.g., Docker) and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
  • Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
