About the role
- We are actively seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Administrator to join our growing team. The SharePoint Administrator will be instrumental in supporting a federal agency's mission by ensuring the seamless operation, configuration, and administration of SharePoint environments.
- This role is contingent upon award. Expecting award around mid-September 2023.
What you'll do
We administer and maintain SharePoint farms and databases to ensure the highest level of performance and security.
We manage and revise SharePoint governance policies, aligning them with federal compliance requirements.
We implement and oversee site collections, workflows, and custom solutions to facilitate agency-specific needs.
We collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems and tools.
We design, execute, and document backup and recovery procedures.
We conduct regular audits to evaluate the effectiveness and security of SharePoint environments, adhering to federal regulations and compliance mandates.
We offer technical support and troubleshooting, employing a customer-focused approach to meet the distinct needs of agency personnel.
We provide training sessions and create user-friendly documentation, empowering federal agency staff to effectively utilize SharePoint capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required; however, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree. Please note that some positions may have a non-negotiable degree requirement based on customer specifications.
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint administration.
Certifications in Microsoft SharePoint, ITIL 4, or SAFe are highly desirable.
Strong understanding of federal compliance requirements, including FISMA and FedRAMP.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.
