Project Manager at Nevermore Solutions

Overview

Nevermore Solutions is a leader in digital transformation, specializing in ITAM and ITSM integration, governance, and service delivery for complex enterprises and federal agencies. We are in search of an exceptional Project Manager to join our high-performing team. This position is central to delivering value to our clients and achieving our mission of empowering them to maximize their potential.

As a Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in planning, executing, and closing projects to meet client needs and company objectives. Your leadership will guide cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. In a fast-paced and dynamic environment, your ability to adapt, innovate, and collaborate will be key.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, costs, quality, communication, risk, and resource management.
  • Execution: Lead project teams to deliver on project objectives, ensuring client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and external vendors.
  • Governance: Ensure that all projects are conducted in compliance with company and industry guidelines.
  • Performance Monitoring: Use project performance indicators to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Change Management: Effectively manage project changes, making adjustments to plans and promptly communicating updates.
  • Project Closure: Provide insightful post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices.
Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks. Manages teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations. Maintains and manages the client interact at senior levels of the client organization. Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program/project task schedules and costs. Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organizes and delegates responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional project management experience. Prefer software program/project management in the Federal environment.
  • Certifications: PMP (required), ITIL, SAFe, or DevOps 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required; however, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree. Please note that some positions may have a non-negotiable degree requirement based on customer specifications. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Federal Experience: Prior experience working with federal agencies is an asset.
