Position Overview

We are actively recruiting an experienced Web Developer to bolster our team. This role will be crucial in the development, deployment, and maintenance of web applications that facilitate the operations and strategic initiatives of a federal agency.

Role contingent upon contract award with an estimated date of 9/15/23.

Responsibilities

  • We design, develop, and implement web applications that are both functional and user-friendly, prioritizing the user experience.
  • We collaborate with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to conceptualize and bring to life agency-specific digital solutions.
  • We adhere to federal security standards in all aspects of web development, including data encryption and secure coding practices.
  • We conduct rigorous testing and quality assurance checks to ensure optimal application performance and bug-free delivery.
  • We utilize version control systems and contribute to the maintenance of code repositories.
  • We participate in Agile development cycles, sprint planning, and scrum meetings, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
  • We provide technical support and training to agency personnel, focusing on both front-end and back-end solutions.

Qualifications

Preferred Industry Experience:

  • Experience working with federal agencies or within government contracting is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one server-side programming language such as Python, Ruby, or PHP.
  • Familiarity with database management, particularly SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and content management systems (CMS).

Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is required; however, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree. Please note that some positions may have a non-negotiable degree requirement based on customer specifications. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in web development.

Certifications:

  • Certifications in Full Stack Web Development, ITIL 4, or SAFe are considered a plus.

Other Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory; ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance is required.
