Records Analyst at Nevermore Solutions

Overview

Nevermore Solutions is a leading force in digital transformation, providing unparalleled services in ITAM and ITSM integration, governance, and service delivery to diverse organizations and federal agencies. We are expanding our team and seek to hire a Records Analyst who will play a pivotal role in managing, organizing, and optimizing records and information assets. This position is designed for individuals who are adept at handling complex information management challenges while contributing to the achievement of our mission: empowering our clients to maximize their potential.

As a Records Analyst, you will collaborate with our team to establish and implement effective records management policies. You will work on the evaluation, categorization, and preservation of digital and physical records, ensuring their integrity and accessibility for business operations and compliance requirements.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Records Management: Develop, implement, and maintain records management policies and retention schedules in alignment with legal and business needs.
  • Data Governance: Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure that data governance standards are met.
  • Compliance: Monitor compliance with federal and industry-specific records management regulations.
  • Information Audits: Conduct regular audits to validate the accuracy and quality of records.
  • User Training: Develop and lead training sessions to educate staff on proper records management procedures.
  • Collaboration: Partner with other departments, including ITAM and ITSM teams, to integrate records management into broader operational and governance structures.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in records management or a related field.
  • Certifications: Certified Records Manager (CRM) or Information Governance Professional (IGP) certification is highly desirable.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Records Management, Information Science, or a related field is required; however, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree. Please note that some positions may have a non-negotiable degree requirement based on customer specifications. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in records management software and tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Federal Experience: Previous experience working with federal agencies is a plus.
