NewUni Inc., which partners with universities around the world to meet the growing global demand for affordable higher education, is seeking a vice president of enrollment for its US partner institution, a WSCUC accredited university located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We're seeking an experienced, visionary, and action-oriented leader with experience growing international student enrollment. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to drive significant growth in the institution’s international student population and elevate the global presence of the university brand. Joining the leadership team at NewUni, and reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President of Enrollment will partner with members of the university’s leadership team. The Vice President will hit the ground running in order to help meet enrollment goals for January 2025 and beyond. 


About the role

Responsible for enrollment strategy and day-to-day oversight and effective execution of all operational-level business processes related to domestic and international student recruitment and admissions. 


Strategic Leadership and Vision

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven enrollment strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets

  • Lead the transformation of the university's global marketing and recruitment efforts

  • Collaborate with NewUni executives and university leadership to align enrollment strategies with overall institutional goals

  • Lead effort to develop innovative degree program offerings and delivery formats that align to the needs of international students, including Day 1 CPT and flexible class scheduling. 


Enrollment Growth and Market Expansion

  • Spearhead the expansion into new international markets, identifying high-potential regions for student recruitment

  • Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including international recruitment agents and educational institutions

  • Contribute to high-impact marketing campaigns tailored to diverse global audiences

  • Represent the university as a thought leader at international education conferences and events


Enrollment Excellence and Student Success

  • Design and implement a best-in-class admissions process, enhancing efficiency and student experience

  • Develop a comprehensive scholarship strategy to attract top-tier international talent

  • Foster cross-departmental collaborations to ensure seamless integration of international students into campus life


Data Analytics and Performance Optimization

  • Leverage advanced analytics to drive decision-making and continuously improve recruitment strategies

  • Develop key performance indicators and reporting mechanisms to track progress and inform leadership

  • Implement cutting-edge CRM and marketing automation tools to enhance recruitment efficiency


Team Leadership and Organizational Development

  • Build and mentor a high-performing, diverse team of enrollment and marketing professionals

  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence within the department

  • Ensure compliance with international education regulations while promoting ethical recruitment practices

  • Lead professional development initiatives to keep the team at the forefront of industry best practices


About You
Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in international education, enrollment management, or related fields
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful international student recruitment strategies
