Radiologic Technologist

As a Radiologic Technologist, you’ll perform diagnostic imaging and support timely, attentive patient care. You’ll prepare patients, operate radiologic imaging equipment, and produce clear images that help clinicians evaluate health concerns. 

Duties

• C-Arm experience
• Perform X-ray imaging and, as qualified and assigned.
• Position and explain procedures to patients, adapting communication to their needs.
• Operate and check medical equipment; follow radiation safety procedures and implement radiation safety protocols.
• Use aseptic technique, maintain imaging areas, and document procedures and observations.
• Assists with the maintenance of quality assurance for the C-Arm
• Assists with the maintenance of dosimeter badges

Requirements

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, diagnostic radiology, and diagnostic evaluation.
• Ability to provide patient care and operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and accurately.
• Familiarity with medical imaging workflows, radiation safety, and fluoroscopy is valued.
• NJDEP license/credential
• AART Certification
• BLS Certification

Pay Range: $45 to $50/hr.

Job Type: Per-Diem
