About the role

You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers. You will ensure that all our solar systems are functioning properly and will resolve any issues that arise. Working with Install Managers and homeowners to fulfill any necessary system upgrades/repairs to support our solar equipment. Troubleshoot PV systems and resolve electrical issues. Work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment. Travel to cities outside of San Angelo is a must. Compensation will be given for Travel.

What you'll do

  • Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
  • Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
  • Troubleshoot motor and control systems
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
  • Layout and assembly of electrical service wall and conduit/wire runs
  • Mechanical/structural mounting of electrical equipment
  • Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC)
  • Electrical interconnection with the structures electrical system
  • Install jobs within a specified timeframe
  • Preferred familiar with Enphase PV system, Duracell commissioning and troubleshooting, or willing to learn
  • Clean up of job site
  • Willing to travel
  • Install and repair electrical solar equipment
  • Troubleshoot motor and control systems
  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes
  • Additional duties required as needed

Qualifications

  • Licensed Journeyman
  • Residential FSU or MPU experience
  • Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

The pay range for this role is:

28 - 35 USD per hour (Remote)
