Accruity

Account Executive

Accruity, we’re building something meaningful — for our clients and for each other. We’re a people-focused accounting services firm that helps business owners get back to what they do best by handling the financial heavy-lifting with clarity, consistency, and care. We support nearly 100 clients across the country with scalable, high-quality accounting solutions — and we’re just getting started.

We’re growing intentionally, investing in the right systems, structure, and culture to support great work and sustainable careers. Inside our team, we lead with trust, autonomy, and accountability — no micromanaging, no performative fluff. Just thoughtful self-starters doing real work, done well.

We believe the right fit matters most. We look for people who take ownership, invest in relationships, and aim to raise the standard every day. Our ideal teammate is reliable, curious, collaborative, and committed to growing — someone who welcomes feedback, takes initiative, and values being part of something bigger than themselves. If you’re always learning and believe how you show up matters, we think you’ll thrive here.

Accruity, a fast-scaling Finance as a Service firm whose purpose is to help entrepreneurs win by unlocking growth, clarity, and creating lasting impact, welcomes you.

We specialize in Finance as a Service — serving entrepreneurs who are overwhelmed, underserved, or operating without the financial clarity they need to scale. If you want to belong to a team that delivers that every day, this company is a great fit for you.

Our clients are entrepreneurs and business owners who need a trusted financial partner to handle the heavy lifting — from bookkeeping and back office to tax strategy and advisory. If you have experience working with or selling to this type of client — or want that experience — this role will be a great fit.

You will love it here if you:

  • Take ownership — from start to finish (Accountability)
  • Invest in relationships — with clients, colleagues, and the people you serve (Care)
  • Raise the bar — not as a goal, but as your baseline (Excellence)

You'll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to:

Own the full sales cycle from qualified opportunity through signed engagement

  • Lead discovery conversations with qualified prospects to understand business structure, financial needs, and growth objectives
  • Present service proposals and guide prospects through decision-making and engagement structure
  • Handle objections, address concerns, and remove friction to move opportunities toward close
  • Drive deal momentum through proactive follow-up, clear next steps, and consistent pipeline management

Self-generate pipeline — you prospect proactively, not reactively

  • Identify and pursue new leads through outbound outreach, networking, events, and partner relationships
  • Represent Accruity at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate and close new business
  • Re-engage stalled opportunities and drive them toward resolution or close

Sell consultatively and speak with confidence about financial services

  • Position Accruity's services as strategic solutions aligned with prospect goals and operational challenges
  • Conduct education-first sales conversations rooted in clarity — not pressure

Manage a clean, accountable pipeline

  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and deal tracking within Go High Level (CRM)
  • Log all calls and notes using Fathom; maintain full documentation at every stage
  • Manage opportunities across Sales & Marketing, Client Ascend, Nurturing, Lost, and Won pipelines

Partner across teams for a seamless client experience

  • Collaborate with internal leadership to structure pricing, scope, and client engagement strategy
  • Partner with onboarding and delivery teams to ensure a smooth handoff from signed engagement to implementation
  • Confirm signed SOW, introduce delivery owner, and review outcomes and next steps at close

Experience That Matters

We hire for fit first — but in this role, what you've sold and who you've sold to matters. The right background means faster ramp time, stronger credibility with prospects, and real conversations from day one.

Required

Direct B2B sales experience in financial services — you have sold accounting, bookkeeping, CFO services, payroll, tax, or a closely related financial service to business owners or operators. You understand the language, the objections, and what it takes to earn trust in this space.

Demonstrated track record of closing consultative, service-based deals — you've managed a full sales cycle from discovery through signed agreement and can speak to it concretely.

Self-sourced pipeline experience — you have built your own book of opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, events, or referral development — not solely from inbound or handed leads.

Executive-level communication skills — you are comfortable and credible in conversations with business owners, operators, and decision-makers.

Preferred

Experience selling into the real estate industry — you have worked with real estate investors, developers, agents, brokers, property managers, or real estate-adjacent businesses and understand how they think about financial operations, cash flow, and growth.

Existing network in the real estate or property management space — relationships you can activate from day one are a meaningful advantage in this role.

Familiarity with accounting operations or outsourced finance — you don't need to be an accountant, but you can hold a fluent conversation about financial reporting, month-end close, categorization, and what good looks like for a growing business.
