About the role:

As an Account Manager, you’ll own a portfolio of existing SaaS clients, driving retention, expansion, and long-term growth. Acting as a trusted business advisor, you'll build relationships with key stakeholders, develop strategic account plans, and identify opportunities to deepen customer engagement with Agility's solutions. 


You'll be joining a company with more than 20 years of industry expertise, helping communications, PR, and marketing teams solve real business challenges through media intelligence, monitoring, and AI-powered insights. 


This is a relationship-driven, commercially focused role where success comes from understanding your clients' business objectives, leading strategic conversations, and delivering outcomes that support both customer success and business growth. You'll inherit an established portfolio of customers and be responsible for renewals, account growth, and relationship management rather than net-new business acquisition. 


Reporting to the Director of Account Management, you'll serve as the strategic and commercial owner of your accounts. Working closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing, you'll help clients maximize the value of their investment in Agility while identifying opportunities to expand their partnership with us. 


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and driving measurable business results through consultative account management. 


What you’ll do:

As a key member of our Account Management team, you'll manage a portfolio of established mid-market clients, helping them maximize the value of their investment in Agility while supporting retention and growth objectives. 


Drive Retention & Growth

  • Serve as the primary strategic and commercial relationship owner for a portfolio of mid-market accounts, driving retention, renewal, and expansion outcomes.  
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that align client business objectives with Agility’s solutions and long-term product strategy.  
  • Lead renewal discussions and contract negotiations, ensuring successful outcomes for both clients and Agility. 
  • Identify, qualify, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities to achieve growth targets.  
  • Deliver quarterly business reviews that that demonstrate value, business impact, platform utilization, and return on investment.   
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of renewal and expansion opportunities across your assigned portfolio. 

Strategic Partnership

  • Build trusted, consultative relationships with key client stakeholders including senior leaders and executive decision-makers. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of client priorities, business goals, challenges, and success measures. 
  • Lead strategic business conversations that align Agility's solutions with evolving customer needs and organizational objectives. 
  • Partner closely with Customer Success, who lead onboarding, adoption, and day-to-day product engagement, while maintaining ownership of account strategy, commercial planning, and executive relationships. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing insights, recommendations, and best practices that help clients achieve their objectives. 

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate renewal and expansion forecasts through Salesforce, providing visibility into account performance, opportunities, and potential risks. 
  • Track portfolio performance against revenue and retention targets. 
  • Develop mitigation plans for at-risk accounts and execute strategies to improve customer retention. 
  • Provide leadership with insights that inform retention strategy, revenue planning, and business decisions. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure customers realize value from their investment and remain engaged throughout their lifecycle. 
  • Partner with Product and Marketing teams to support strategic client initiatives, business reviews, and expansion opportunities. 
  • Advocate for customer feedback internally, helping shape future product enhancements and service offerings. 
  • Contribute to a seamless customer experience by aligning internal teams around client objectives and priorities. 

What you bring:

  • 2+ years of account management or sales experience within a B2B SaaS environment, ideally with mid-market clients.
  • Demonstrated success in renewal, expansion, and consultative sales, meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, customer lifecycle management, and value-based selling.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools; experience with customer success platforms is a plus.
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and comfortable managing a diverse portfolio in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Total Compensation for this role is expected to fall within the range of $100,000–$120,000 annually. The final offer will reflect each candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
