apexanalytix is seeking an experienced Technology Leader to serve as SVP, Global Head of Engineering & Infrastructure, based at the company's Global Capability Center (GCC) in Noida, India — building, leading and scaling the GCC as a strategic engineering hub while owning apexanalytix's global engineering and infrastructure platform.
apexanalytix runs its own private cloud: more than 60 Kubernetes clusters across two datacenters, every workload declared in Git and reconciled through GitOps, backed by Ceph software-defined storage and Cilium eBPF networking, hosted as KubeVirt tenant clusters managed through Cluster API. Beneath it sit Cisco UCS and Supermicro compute, a multi-vendor network fabric, redundant WAN edge appliances, a large VMware estate and a Citrix tier fronting client access. On top of it run apexanalytix's supplier management platform on .NET, the QubitOn data validation and risk API platform, the Conductor supplier community platform, a Go microservice estate and a React front end.
This is not a lift-and-shift into a public cloud. It is infrastructure and software the team builds, owns and operates end to end, from bare metal to the pod to the request. This role owns the strategy and health of all of it globally, while building the Noida, India organization that runs it day to day.
This role works in close collaboration with global engineering leadership, product, security and People Solutions to ensure the GCC operates as a true extension of apexanalytix's technology organization — capable of owning full engineering and infrastructure domains, not simply providing delivery capacity. Past experience building or scaling a Global Capability Center from the ground up is highly valued.

• Leverages subject-matter expertise in engineering organization design, platform strategy and enterprise application delivery to advise the executive team on GCC strategy and global technology investment, drawing on the technical leadership bench beneath this role for deep domain expertise.
• Acts as the voice of the Noida, India GCC and internal advocate, ensuring the center's talent, priorities and delivery capacity are understood and supported by global leadership.
• Partners with global product, security and engineering leaders to translate business priorities into GCC capacity plans and technology roadmaps.
• Roles and Requirements
• Organization. Leads the strategic build-out and scaling of the Noida, India GCC, including org structure, hiring plan, career ladders and location strategy, in partnership with global People Solutions and Talent Acquisition. Recruits, develops and retains top-tier engineering leaders and individual contributors in the Noida market, building a local leadership bench capable of full autonomy across platform engineering, networking, data and software development. Builds and leads the leadership team beneath this role — Architecture, Software Development and Infrastructure Operations — with clear, non-overlapping mandates. Hands-on technical depth sits with that leadership bench — the Architect, the VP, Head of Software Development and Infrastructure Operations; this role hires, directs and holds that bench accountable rather than operating the platform directly. Instills the apex Way and global engineering standards locally, adapting for cultural context without diluting the culture.
• Platform strategy and investment. Sets the strategy and target architecture for the global private-cloud platform: Kubernetes at fleet scale across bare-metal, virtualized and managed-cloud footprints, GitOps delivery, Cilium eBPF networking and Ceph-backed storage. Owns the investment case for the platform — datacenter and hardware refresh, network fabric build-out, capacity expansion, licensing and support contracts, and headcount — and defends it to the executive team and, as needed, the Board.
• Datacenter and network direction. Sets direction for datacenter and network strategy across both sites: which compute and network platforms the estate standardises on, site and capacity strategy, and the hardware lifecycle and refresh plan. Day-to-day operation — provisioning, firmware, change execution and incident response — is delivered through the Global IT Managed Services Leader.
• Reliability and cost. Sets the reliability and recoverability standard the estate is run to — availability targets, RPO and RTO, disaster recovery posture, and the evidence standard for operational reporting — and holds the operations organization accountable to it. Owns infrastructure cost strategy and the run-cost target, in a compliance-regulated context (SOC 2, and FedRAMP/StateRAMP readiness).
• Software delivery. Owns delivery of apexanalytix's product engineering estate through the VP, Head of Software Development, and architectural standards across infrastructure and applications through the Architect — accountable for one standard spanning design, build and run.
• Data platform. Owns the distributed data platform strategy across the multi-engine production estate, and the geo-replicated database migration programme — architecture, migration sequencing, tooling and the owning team. Accountable for the database organization having, or acquiring, the capability to run that platform.
• AI-led engineering. Drives AI adoption across the engineering organization — agentic coding workflows, automated code review, automated issue resolution and the supporting automation library — and is accountable for measured adoption against a stated baseline.
• Governance and partnership. Partners with the CISO on security posture, ensuring infrastructure and applications meet enterprise customer and regulatory requirements. Provides transparent, data-driven reporting on delivery, cost, reliability and talent metrics to executive leadership and, as needed, the Board. Acts as a key contributor to apexanalytix's overall value-creation plan, with clear line of sight from GCC investment to EBITDA and margin impact.
• Escalation. Is the escalation point of last resort for a major incident, and the decision-maker when reliability, cost and delivery speed conflict.
The Work :
First-Year Priorities
• Establish provable backup and restore across every tenant and platform system, with independently witnessed evidence.
• Establish verified high availability across production — replica counts, host anti-affinity and disruption budgets — applied and checked continuously.
• Complete the geo-replicated database migration programme with a permanent owning team.
• Build depth and succession in the platform's critical engineering domains, so no production-critical capability rests on a single individual.
• Drive measured AI adoption across engineering against a stated baseline.
• Establish a single, auditable priority and work-assignment process across the engineering organization.
• Balance senior engineering capacity across the product portfolio.
• Establish an evidence standard for operational and delivery reporting, in which every status claim is backed by a check that was run and can be re-run.
Required Skills
• 12+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience, including 5+ years building or scaling a Global Capability Center or offshore development center from the ground up.
• Proven track record hiring and retaining engineering talent in the India market, with strong knowledge of Noida, India/NCR talent dynamics.
• Experience operating in a PE-backed or high-growth SaaS environment, with fluency connecting engineering investment to business outcomes.
• Strong executive presence — able to represent the GCC credibly to global leadership and act as a trusted partner to executive peers.
• Experience leading organizations that build and operate large-scale private-cloud or Kubernetes platforms — technically fluent enough to set platform strategy, pressure-test architecture and investment decisions, and hold hands-on leaders accountable. Direct hands-on operation of the platform is not required; that depth sits with the Architecture and Infrastructure leadership this role hires.
• Conversant with modern platform engineering practice — GitOps delivery, software-defined networking and storage, platform services and observability — at the level needed to evaluate proposals, challenge designs and audit operational evidence.
• Credible engineering leadership background spanning both applications and infrastructure — able to engage substantively on architecture, delivery practice and code quality. A prior hands-on engineering background is valued; recent hands-on work is not expected.
• Experience sponsoring and governing large, high-risk platform or data migration programmes — accountable for sequencing, risk and the owning team.
• Demonstrated record driving adoption of AI-assisted engineering across an organization, measured against a stated baseline.
• Experience with B2B enterprise software, ideally in fintech, supply chain, procurement, or data/analytics domains, is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills.

Scope Boundaries:
This role owns how apexanalytix's products and platform are built and run, and the organization in Noida that does it. Security policy, posture and compliance attestation sit with the CISO; AI research, data science and AI/automation delivery with a separate AI & Automation organization; product strategy and roadmap with the Product Leader; and client commercial relationships with Go-to-Market leadership.
