Production Control Analyst

Role Overview 

Beehive Industries is seeking a Production Control Analyst to support the flow of engine assemblies and components through the manufacturing process. This role helps ensure production schedules are executed effectively by tracking work orders, identifying issues that may impact delivery, and coordinating across manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.

The ideal candidate is early in their manufacturing or operations career and thrives in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires strong organization, urgency, and the ability to support real-time problem solving on the manufacturing floor while helping maintain schedule integrity and production visibility.

What You’ll Do...

Track engine assemblies, subassemblies, and components through the manufacturing process 

Monitor daily production priorities and support execution of scheduled work orders 

Assist in identifying issues that may impact production timelines, including material shortages, quality holds, tooling delays, documentation gaps, and engineering clarifications 

Support daily production meetings by gathering updates and communicating schedule priorities 

Escalate production risks to supervisors or planners to ensure timely resolution 

Help track key production metrics such as schedule adherence, work order completion, and work-in-process status 

Support coordination of recovery actions when production schedules fall behind 

Assist in maintaining accurate work order data within ERP/MRP and MES systems 

Help ensure production priorities are clearly communicated to shop floor personnel 

Support data entry and reporting related to production performance and throughput 

Assist in identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production flow 

Support cross-functional coordination between manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams 

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to production planning and scheduling processes

Education

Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred)

Experience

0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production support, supply chain, operations, or related field 

Internship, co-op, or entry-level exposure to manufacturing or production environments preferred

Exposure to ERP/MRP systems or production tracking tools preferred 

Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, scheduling, or operations concepts through education or training

Skills & Competencies

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities 

Strong communication skills with ability to work across multiple teams 

Ability to follow structured processes and support production priorities 

Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment 

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, simple reporting, basic formulas) 

Strong sense of urgency and willingness to learn on the job 

Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, technicians, engineers, and support functions 

Interest in manufacturing operations, production planning, or supply chain coordination

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice to have...

Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or industrial environments 

Exposure to ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) 

Familiarity with production scheduling or shop floor control concepts 

Experience working with cross-functional teams in a project or operational setting 

Basic understanding of manufacturing flow, lean concepts, or continuous improvement 

Strong communication and teamwork skills demonstrated through academic or project work 

Ability to work in a high-paced, mission-driven manufacturing environment
