Title: Grant Program Facilitator

Reports to: Director of Programs and Quality

Rate: $24.24 per hour

Hours/Location: 40 hours/week; Monday - Friday. Multiple locations including Murray and Tooele.

Status: Full-time hourly, non-exempt

Position Duration: October 1, 2026-May 30, 2027

More than a desk job! Under the supervision of the Director of Programs and Quality, the Grant Program Facilitator for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake will be responsible for requirements associated with one specific TANF grant from October 2026 through May 2027. This will include high-level grant management in addition to on-the-ground programming facilitation with teens and youth at two of our five locations (Tooele and Murray).

A successful Grant Program Facilitator will thrive with a variety of responsibilities, be accountable and meticulous with paperwork and grant requirements, and also enjoy interacting with and contributing to the support and development of young people.

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):

Grant Management

• Oversee all program quality requirements of TANF grant
• Communicate with grant administrator about observations
• Set and complete quarterly SMART goals
• Attend all required check-ins and mentoring sessions with Utah Afterschool Network
• Other duties assigned related to grant terms

Programming Support

• Work with Program Directors at Murray and Tooele locations to provide programming support to the teen programs
• Assist with planning and implementing enrichment activities in our four key areas: academic success, health & wellbeing, character & leadership, and life & workforce readiness

Facilitate Making A Difference

• Complete facilitator training for Making A Difference curriculum (evidence-based, abstinence approach to teen pregnancy and HIV/STD prevention)
• Work with Program Directors at Murray and Tooele locations to complete program with participants

General Club Support

• Become driver-trained to provide support at other Club locations on an as-needed basis for afterschool pickups and field trips
• Be willing to learn and implement trauma-informed practices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge:

• Management of multiple priorities and attentive to details
• Must be friendly, outgoing, team-oriented, and flexible
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Comfortable engaging with teens and youth, facilitating programs, and driving Club vehicles
• Willing to be trained as a facilitator of teen pregnancy and HIV/STD prevention curricula

Other Requirements:

• 21+
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass Drug Screening
• Willing to complete driver training
• Travel to Tooele Club site 2x/week for teen program support
• Travel to Miller Club site in Murray 2x/week for teen program support
• Be adaptable and flexible to change
• Assume other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Preferred Qualifications:

• Non-profit grant facilitation experience
• 1 year of experience working with youth or teens
• Spanish/English bilingual
