Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex data exploration and analytics projects with statistics.
  • Evaluate AI methodologies to make a real-world impact on AI usage in strategic intelligence.
  • Perform continuous auditing, testing, evaluation, verification, and validation (TEVV) and AI risk mitigation to shape the future of analytics through a variety of means.
  • Conducts data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis, and uses scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products, enabling more informed analytic decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience correlating complex technical findings into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products.
  • 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) and functional programming to build modular and scalable testing libraries.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including AI or ML validation.
  • Experience with building and evaluating outputs and performance of advanced analytics, particularly LLMs and/or agentic AI.
  • Experience working on classified networks in support of DoD or IC clients.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
  • Ability to visualize complex data and concepts for non-technical leadership, highlighting system risks and "go or no-go" criteria clearly.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with scientific techniques such as mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, machine learning, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, or data warehousing, OR 12+ years of experience with scientific techniques such as mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, machine learning, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, or data warehousing in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience reviewing and evaluating technical documentation for compliance with applicable standards.
  • Experience developing and executing TEVV procedures.
  • Experience evaluating AI system performance, robustness, and fairness.

General Factors:

  • Depending on project requirements, may be required to work within a compressed schedule; more than 40-hour work weeks should be expected when schedules demand it.
  • Willing to travel, if needed.
  • No Relocation.
  • Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.

Clearance: TS/SCI with current CI Poly (adjudicated within the past 5 years or ability to pass a CI Poly)

Location:  Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling; On-Site

Salary Range: 110K - 135K
