Live Sales Training & Development Specialist

  Job Summary:

What we are looking for in a Live Sales Trainer is someone who is responsible for training, coaching, and development of streamers to the CancelledBreaks standards. This role ensures all streamers have the proper knowledge to deliver high-energy, compliant, accurate, and customer-focused live experiences before and after graduating from training. The ideal candidate understands sports & card culture (preferred but not required), and enjoys coaching/training new talent on audience engagement, sales performance, and operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Development

• Train, develop and prepare classes of 6-10 streamers on:
• • Live Stream Hosting
  • Sleeving & Ripping (opening packs) 
  • Pacing
  • On - camera presence
  • Audience engagement
  • And More
• Develop and lead structured training programs, scripts, best practices, and performance standards
• Provide 1:1 coaching, group workshops, and real-time feedback during live sessions
• Continually improve training program to ensure best results 

Schedule:

• The schedule for the role is one week of day shift in-class training, followed by one week of in-studio evening shift training.

Performance & Quality Monitoring

• Observe live streams and evaluate breaker performance, professionalism, energy, accuracy, and compliance
• Identify skill gaps and deliver tailored improvement training
• Ensure breakers maintain brand culture, and company values

Live Stream & Product Knowledge Training

• Teach & stay current with sports card terminology, product types, product drops, pack/break formats, rarity levels, and marketplace trends
• Coach on accurate reading of team rosters, names, card identification, and break rules
• Teach streamers platform policies, legal guidelines, and company compliance standards
• Train streamers on customer service best practices, chat interaction, and issue de-escalation

Skills & Qualifications:

• Very strong knowledge of sports - NFL, NBA, MLB, etc.
• Knowledge of TCG - Pokemon, One Piece, etc.   
• Strong background in fast-paced or live stream sales
• Minimum of 1 year experience in teaching and/or training in a high paced environment required.  Preferably as a sales trainer. Experience should be in a training role where this was your main priority.
• Knowledge of sports cards and live break culture
• The ability to create fun training environment, while still commanding respect  
• Positive attitude
• Excellent coaching and communication skills
• Ability to teach pacing, show flow, and sales engagement techniques
• Comfortable delivering feedback and handling performance coaching
• Strong organizational skills and ability to develop training content
• High energy, confident presence, and ability to motivate others
• Ability to work a rotating schedule of one week of day shifts followed by a week of evening shifts
