We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator to join a data centre project team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating M&E services across the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery aligns with programme, quality standards, and safety requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) aspects of data centre construction projects
  • Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of M&E services
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation to identify potential issues or clashes
  • Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and health & safety requirements
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and senior stakeholders
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings, including coordination and progress meetings
  • Ensure quality control throughout installation and commissioning phases
  • Support commissioning activities and handover documentation processes
  • Assist in resolving technical issues on site in a timely manner


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an M&E Coordinator
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in large-scale construction or manufacturing environments
  • Experience working on complex MEP installations and coordinating multiple subcontractors
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with project management tools and reporting processes
