JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• Software developer supporting SATS maintenance and Command for Dozing (remote control) Cadence. Large Track Type Tractors (LTTT)
• Responsible for coding C++ at application level to get RC/Autonomy system to function as desired on Dozers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the lead software expert, providing technical direction and architectural guidance.
• Collaborate closely with the Technology Project Manager (TPM), who oversees overall project execution and budget.
• Partner with Software Developers and Systems Engineers to deliver releases, resolve issues, and ensure system reliability.
• Drive the design and integration of autonomy solutions into current and future models.
• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and compliance with organizational standards.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Years of experience: 4+ years' experience required
• Degree requirement: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• C++ demonstrated experience, automation, robotics
• Unit testing, SIL testing, Canape or CANanlyzer (preferred)
• Ethernet tools (wireshark)

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Familiar with construction equipment
• Robotics or automation experience
