JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

  • Develop and optimize CNC manufacturing processes.
  • Support machining operations and production activities.
  • Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and improve CNC machining processes.
  • Support production and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Create process documentation and work instructions.
  • Optimize cycle times, tooling, and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/process engineering.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:  

  • CNC machining and manufacturing process development.
  • CNC programming and tooling knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Process optimization and continuous improvement experience.
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and production support.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Project management and process improvement experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with automation, CNC technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
