Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Renewals to join our Renewals team. The Manager, Renewals will be responsible for leading a team of Renewals Managers and Specialists, ensuring that they meet performance metrics, and providing coaching and support to drive continuous improvement. This role will also serve as the point of escalation for the team and will collaborate closely with the Sr. Manager of Global Renewals.


Qualifications & Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Renewal Manager and Specialists.
    • Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings to provide feedback, set goals, and support team members' professional development.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Performance Metrics:
    • Ensure the team consistently meets performance metrics as specified in the performance scorecard, including on-time renewals, completion of paper processes, and quoting renewals 90 days ahead of time.
    • Monitor team performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Escalation Management:
    • Act as the primary point of escalation for the Renewal Specialists, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
    • Further escalate complex issues to the Sr. Manager, Global Renewals as needed, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Coaching and Training:
    • Identify coaching opportunities and provide tailored feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
    • Develop and deliver supplemental training materials to address skill gaps and support continuous learning.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless renewals processes and address any obstacles.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on renewals progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewals, customer success, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance metrics.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify coaching opportunities and develop effective training materials.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and escalation management skills.
