Position Summary

As a Bench TechRepair Technician, you will diagnose, repair, refurbish, test, and restore mechanical parts and equipment. You will work on a variety of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical components, ensuring all equipment meets CORD’s quality standards before being returned to service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical hardware, and related components
• Refurbish assemblies and subassemblies to manufacturer and company specifications
• Troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical failures using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, calibration, and quality inspections
• Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation and reliability
• Document repairs, parts usage, and service activity accurately
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and repair materials
• Follow established repair procedures, safety standards, and quality control processes
• Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and improve repair efficiency

Equipment You'll Work On

• Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)
• Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs)
• Cash Dispensing Units (CDUs)
• Related cash handling, deposit automation, and self-service transaction equipment

Technicians receive training on equipment from multiple manufacturers, providing valuable experience across a broad range of industry-leading platforms.

Qualifications

Required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to follow technical procedures and repair documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred
• Experience repairing ATMs, kiosks, vending machines, automotive electronics, or other electromechanical equipment
• Experience with cash dispensing or recycling equipment
• Previous depot repair, field service, maintenance, or manufacturing experience
