An exciting opportunity is available to join the Culture Kings Finance team as Senior Management Accountant.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this is a commercially focused role that goes beyond traditional management accounting. You will play a key role in translating financial and inventory data into meaningful insights that support decision-making across the business and our ANZ and US operations.
With exposure across management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, inventory, capex, cash flow and finance systems, this role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who enjoys getting into the detail while also understanding the bigger commercial picture.
In this role, you will support the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, including month-end and year-end close activities, lead variance analysis across budgets and reforecasts, and translate financial performance into clear commercial insights for the Head of Finance and wider leadership team. You will also support annual budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling, helping identify key performance drivers, emerging risks and opportunities across the business.
You will take ownership of inventory accounting, including valuation, provisioning, reconciliations and product and landed costing. Working closely with Operations and Merchandise & Planning, you will provide insight into stock integrity, ageing, inventory turnover and the impact of inventory and costing movements on gross margin and cash flow.
You will also support capital budgeting and cash flow forecasting, including monitoring investment across store rollouts, refurbishments and systems projects, as well as providing financial input into capex business cases, including payback and return considerations.
As a Finance super-user across NetSuite, Tableau and Claude, you will help strengthen data integrity, reporting and internal controls, support SOX requirements and finance system implementations, upgrades and integrations, while identifying opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes as the business continues to scale.
Beyond the numbers, you will act as a trusted business partner across Retail, Operations, Merchandise & Planning and the wider business, providing financial insight, dashboards and analysis that support informed commercial decision-making.
