Radiologic Technologist

About Current Clinic Management, LLC

Millions of people live with Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), a chronic condition that is often debilitating and under-treated. Access to timely, specialized care from electrophysiologists (EPs) remains a persistent challenge in many communities. Current Clinic is pioneering a new model, establishing a network of specialized, EP-focused ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) to expand capacity and bring life-changing treatment closer to home.

As a Radiologic Technologist at Current Clinic, you are an essential part of the clinical team, performing diagnostic imaging procedures that directly support the electrophysiologists and care teams serving Afib patients. Your precision and skill help ensure that patients receive accurate, timely information so that life-changing treatment can move forward without delay.

You bring a steady, skilled hand to a fast-moving clinical environment. You take pride in your technical accuracy and in how you help patients feel at ease before and during procedures. Whether you’re calibrating equipment, coordinating with physicians, or managing image quality, you approach each step with the same high standard of care. You thrive in settings where the work is meaningful and the pace demands both focus and adaptability.

At Current Clinic, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team of clinicians and operators who share a commitment to expanding access to specialized cardiac care. You’ll be embedded in a setting where your expertise is valued and your contributions directly shape the patient experience. This role is an excellent fit for a certified radiologic technologist with ASC or outpatient clinical experience who is looking to grow within a mission-driven organization.

What you will be doing

  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, taking time to explain each step clearly and help reduce anxiety before and during the exam.
  • Adjust immobilization devices and configure exposure factors based on patient height, weight, and the specific area being imaged to produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy.
  • Operate imaging equipment across a variety of clinical settings, including the operating room and patient bedside, ensuring mobile units are positioned and functioning correctly.
  • Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures, including nuclear medicine and sonography, in support of physician-directed care plans.
  • Assist the radiologist during fluoroscopic and special ultrasound examinations, maintaining a collaborative and responsive presence throughout each procedure.
  • Apply radiation protection protocols consistently to minimize exposure for patients, staff, and yourself, prioritizing safety at every stage of care.
  • Measure and mix barium and contrast media according to procedure requirements and physician specifications.
  • Process, review, and prepare images for reading by the radiologist or requesting physician, maintaining quality control standards at every stage.
  • Perform routine maintenance on radiologic equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and coordinate repairs with service vendors as needed to minimize clinical disruption.
  • Complete documentation accurately and on time, including procedural forms, logs, and reports, to maintain thorough and compliant records of all work performed.

What we’re looking for

  • Current certification as an X-Ray technician in your state of practice, with a commitment to keeping licensure active and in good standing.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program, or an equivalent combination of education and clinical experience.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a radiology or imaging role; ASC or outpatient surgery center experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification, current or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients, collaborate effectively with physicians, and coordinate across clinical teams.
  • Ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure, with a consistent focus on patient safety and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Physical ability to perform the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, operating mobile radiologic equipment, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
