Position Summary

BelieveRx is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Cold Pack Packer / Shipper to support daily pharmacy fulfillment and shipping operations. This position is responsible for accurately packing medication orders using appropriate cold-chain packaging materials, preparing shipments for carrier pickup, and ensuring products are packaged according to established procedures to help maintain required temperature conditions during transit.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while following pharmacy procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare medication orders for shipment according to established procedures.
• Prepare cold-pack shipments using designated insulated packaging, refrigerated gel packs, and other approved temperature-control materials.
• Follow established packing instructions to help maintain required temperature ranges during transit.
• Verify shipping labels, patient/order identifiers, quantities, and other required shipment details for accuracy.
• Inspect packaging materials and completed shipments to ensure they meet quality and shipping standards.
• Prepare shipping labels, organize completed packages, and stage shipments for scheduled carrier pickup.
• Monitor and replenish packing supplies, including insulated containers, cold packs, shipping boxes, labels, and other materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing and shipping work area.
• Follow all applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality requirements, and pharmacy policies.
• Document packing activities, shipment preparation, and any discrepancies as required.
• Promptly report damaged products, packaging issues, temperature-control concerns, order discrepancies, or shipping delays to the appropriate supervisor.
• Protect confidential patient and pharmacy information.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in packing, shipping, order fulfillment, warehouse operations, or pharmacy operations preferred.
• Experience with cold-chain shipping or temperature-sensitive products is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use shipping software, scanners, and label printers.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive packing tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move packages and shipping supplies, with or without reasonable accommodation, in accordance with facility requirements.
• Ability to work in designated packing and temperature-controlled areas as required.
• Manual dexterity to handle packaging materials, labels, and shipping supplies accurately.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position at Believe Rx's Tomball, Texas facility. The role involves routine packing and shipping activities, handling temperature-control materials, and working in accordance with pharmacy-specific procedures and quality standards.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 to $16.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant skills.
