Position Summary

The Warranty Driver is responsible for the timely and efficient pickup and delivery of warranty batteries within the designated service area. This role ensures safe transportation of batteries, maintains a clean and organized work vehicle, and assists with loading and unloading deliveries. When not completing delivery routes, this position supports daily warehouse operations, including cleaning, organization, shipping, and other general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver warranty batteries to customers, service locations, and designated facilities in a timely and efficient manner.
• Plan and complete delivery routes to ensure prompt service and minimize unnecessary travel time.
• Safely load, unload, transport, and handle batteries and other materials, including items weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Assist with loading and unloading vans and ensure all products are properly secured during transportation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work vehicle.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections, monitor vehicle condition, and report any maintenance needs or mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any related documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal team members regarding deliveries, pickups, and scheduling.
• Assist with general warehouse operations when not completing deliveries, including cleaning, organizing inventory and work areas, preparing shipments, packing orders, and other shipping-related tasks.
• Follow all company safety procedures and proper handling practices for batteries, warehouse materials, and company vehicles.
• Complete additional warehouse and operational tasks as needed to support daily business needs.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 100 lbs and perform frequent loading and unloading activities.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain a company vehicle.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to complete deliveries efficiently and reliably.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with the team.
• Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
• Willingness to assist with physical warehouse duties, including cleaning, organizing, packing, and shipping.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse tasks as needed.
• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods while completing delivery routes.
• Ability to safely load and unload batteries and other materials from company vehicles.
