Title: Senior Analyst, Portfolio Management

This Senior Analyst role will report to the head of Portfolio Management working on all global existing financings and related debt instruments. This is a strategic role working across lender relationships in a rapidly growing debt portfolio, with hands-on involvement in joint venture formation, financing hold/sell analysis, and lender consents that directly shape portfolio outcomes. The role spans Hyperscale Data Center Project Finance, ABS, CMBS, Portfolio Facilities, and HoldCo Facilities, alongside Letter of Credit and Bond issuances to support active development. The Senior Analyst will work closely with internal business units, senior leadership, and third parties to monitor performance and mitigate risks, and will be active in an international environment supporting our global financing efforts. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. The job is based in the Herndon, Virginia office.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with external consultants and internally across real estate, tax, legal, accounting, capital markets, FP&A, treasury, sustainability, engineering, and project management on a variety of topics impacting the portfolio.
  • Assist the head of Portfolio Management with lender Q&A across the global portfolio.
  • Support joint venture formation, financing hold/sell analysis, lender consents, and lender reporting for operational and development assets.
  • Manage the monthly debt draw process across the debt portfolio.
  • Issue Letters of Credit through ECX’s global bank network to secure long lead equipment, power supply, gas contracts, and real estate in partnership with ECX’s power and real estate teams.
  • Issue performance and payment bonds alongside ECX’s general contractor to facilitate development.
  • Support corporate restructuring processes coordinating with corporate development, legal, and tax teams.
  • Support the scaling of ECX Portfolio Management capabilities by developing (AI) tools across a variety of workstreams to improve processes, reduce manual inputs, and develop portfolio dashboards for leadership, as examples.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in financial modeling and a strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort reading credit agreements and translating legal and financial terms into practical implications for the business.
  • Strong communications, both written and verbal, coordinating with peers, lenders, and other disciplines on driving tasks and issues to closure.
  • Capable of working in a fast-moving environment to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities while meeting required timelines.
  • Strong process management skills including ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
  • High-performing, self-motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, a proactive mindset, high energy, and a passion for driving results and continuous improvement.

Experience/Education

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Background in finance, real estate, or capital markets preferred.
  • Proficiency in Claude and other AI tools, with demonstrated experience applying AI to automate workflows and elevate the quality of deliverables to management and lenders.
  • Experience in Data Centers, Technology, or Real Estate environments is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in financing, portfolio management, credit analysis, or hedging is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • This role is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
