About the role

  • EnerVenue is seeking a hands-on Facilities Operations Coordinator to support daily facilities operations, vendor coordination, documentation, and facility improvement activities at the Fremont site. This role will help keep the facility organized, responsive, and operational while supporting ongoing consolidation, maintenance, and facilities improvement work.

What you'll do

  • Support day-to-day facilities operations, including work order follow-up, vendor coordination, site issue tracking, and basic facilities documentation.
  • Support coordination of preventive maintenance activities for HVAC, electrical, compressed air, roof, fire/life-safety, security, and general building systems.
  • Track action items, open issues, vendor follow-ups, maintenance needs, and status updates.
  • Walk the facility regularly to identify visible issues related to safety, housekeeping, leaks, HVAC, electrical, access, lighting, doors, equipment, storage, and general building condition.
  • Support facilities planning and consolidation activities, including room setup, equipment relocation coordination, storage organization, labeling, and basic field verification.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in facilities, operations, maintenance or construction coordination, lab operations, manufacturing support, or a similar hands-on environment.
  • Basic understanding of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, fire/life-safety, access control, and general maintenance.
  • Comfortable walking industrial and lab areas, taking photos, checking field conditions, and tracking open issues.
  • Ability to read basic floor plans, equipment layouts, service reports, quotes, and maintenance documentation is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with vendors, contractors, engineers, internal users, and management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and basic project tracking tools.
  • Strong organization, communication, follow-up, and documentation skills.

Physical / Site Requirements

  • Ability to work on-site in Fremont during normal business hours, with occasional after-hours or weekend availability as needed for urgent facilities issues or emergency support.
  • Ability to walk the facility, inspect work areas, climb stairs as needed, and occasionally lift or move light facilities items.
  • Must follow all site safety and security requirements.
