This role is a contractor position for Eva NYC's sister company - Ethique Beauty.

Ethique Beauty makes clean, concentrated beauty products, including their best-selling shampoo bars and conditioner bars that are effective, clean, and ethical. Ethique is a future-forward organization that believes you can have amazing products that are good for you and good for the environment.

Job Overview:

This contract will prioritize how Ethique shows up across social media, creator partnerships, and community. You'll work across social channels, identify and build relationships with creators (particularly in beauty and sustainability communities), develop partnerships, and run small-scale events to build brand awareness — working with the team on everything from content strategy to hands-on creator sourcing.

Location: Remote (must be based in and have the right to work in the US)
Hourly rate: $40-$47 an hour
Start date: immediately
Contract duration: On going / up to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Social: Lead strategy and day-to-day execution - content calendar, briefing and sourcing (including UGC creators), posting, and community management. Bonus for experience capturing content yourself.
• Creators: Lead influencer sourcing and relationships - identifying nano and micro creators to work with, coordinating gifting, and managing ongoing relationships. Bonus for experience with affiliate creators across TikTok Shop, Amazon Creators, LTK, or ShopMy.
• Partnerships & Community: Be present in Reddit threads, Facebook groups, and other spaces where people are already talking about what we make and care about - representing Ethique in a way that's helpful, not sales-y.
• Partnerships & Activations: Identify opportunities for collabs, events, and sampling, and lead execution end to end.

Requirements:

• ~5 years of post-school experience in social media, community management, content, creator relations, or something adjacent
• Experience planning and executing across both Instagram and TikTok
• Experience sourcing creators or managing UGC
• Track record of building communities or managing social presence at any scale
• Comfortable with ambiguity and testing things that might not work
• Kind and good-tempered (we're a small team and we work together closely)
• Comfortable moving between strategic and hands-on work in the same day
• Genuine passion for and/or background in beauty, sustainability, and/or outdoor lifestyle
