Sales Enablement Lead

About the role

exacare ai is hiring a Sales Enablement Lead to build our enablement function from the ground up and help turn a rapidly growing sales team into a world-class sales organization. This is a newly created role reporting to the VP of Sales.

As the sales organization scales across our account executive, sales development and renewals teams, enablement is currently owned directly by sales leadership. You will take on that mandate and build it into a structured, repeatable function. Your two primary objectives are reducing time to ramp for new hires and driving continued performance improvement across the existing team.

This is a build role. You will design the onboarding program, develop the training curriculum and certification standards, and create the internal content that prepares representatives to sell into a complex and highly regulated market. Post-acute care spans skilled nursing, home health and hospice, each with distinct operators, workflows and reimbursement models. Translating that complexity into a curriculum a new hire can learn quickly is central to the role. You will operate as a shared resource across sales leadership, product marketing, product and revenue operations.

What You'll Do

  • Own onboarding and ramp: Design and run the onboarding program end to end, from a new hire's first week through certification, with time to ramp as the primary measure of success.
  • Build the training curriculum: Develop the internal training content, courses and certification standards that prepare a new representative to run their own discovery calls independently.
  • Develop market expertise across the team: Build structured training on the post-acute market, covering operators, buying committees, reimbursement and the competitive landscape.
  • Deliver continuous enablement: Partner with the VP of Sales and Sales Director to identify execution gaps across the team, then build and deliver the training that addresses them, including discovery, multi-threading and champion development.
  • Support sales managers: Equip managers with the scorecards, call review processes and coaching frameworks that strengthen their one-on-ones and team development.
  • Partner with Product Marketing: Translate positioning, product launches and customer proof points into internal training, talk tracks and enablement materials the sales team can apply directly.
  • Own the enablement layer of our sales tooling: Manage the components of our internal call capture and scorecard systems that support sales performance, and maintain the training content library.
  • Build for scale: Structure, document and record enablement programs so they deliver consistently as the team grows, and apply AI to increase the speed and quality of that work.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in sales enablement, revenue enablement or sales training.
  • Breadth across the enablement function: You have built onboarding programs, developed curriculum, run certification processes and supported managers on coaching, with exposure to the full function rather than a single specialization.
  • Healthcare industry knowledge: You have worked in or sold into healthcare and understand how operators, clinical teams and reimbursement work in practice. Post-acute experience is strongly preferred.
  • An educator's approach: You are patient, empathetic and effective at driving adoption, including with experienced team members accustomed to established ways of working.
  • Focus on adoption and outcomes: You measure your work by what representatives adopt and the impact it has on their performance.
  • Systems and process orientation: You build programs and content libraries that scale with headcount, and you are comfortable applying AI to do so efficiently.
  • Ability to operate independently: You have managed significant scope with limited oversight and set your own priorities effectively.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: You have worked across sales, product marketing, product and revenue operations to deliver programs.

Bonus Points

  • Experience as a quota-carrying sales representative prior to moving into enablement
  • Experience selling or enabling in skilled nursing, home health or hospice
  • Experience establishing an enablement function at a company that did not previously have one
  • Experience applying AI to enablement, such as scoring calls or emails against a rubric to identify coaching themes

In your first year, you will have:

  • Built a repeatable onboarding and certification program that materially reduces new-hire ramp time
  • Established a clear exacare sales methodology and reinforced it across the team
  • Created an ongoing enablement cadence driven by actual performance gaps
  • Given managers better systems for call review, coaching and rep development
  • Established clear metrics connecting enablement programs to rep productivity and sales performance
  • Built a scalable, AI-enabled content and training library

Benefits + Perks

  • Competitive salary and equity in a high-growth startup
  • Flexible PTO, take what you need
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Great startup culture, including company off-sites
  • High-achieving team, including ex-Amazon engineers and alumni of Bain, BCG, Goldman Sachs, and more

An insight into our Core Values

Only the best belong here

We are unapologetic about talent. This should be the best team you have ever been on. Protecting that standard is how we honor each other's time, ambition, and craft.

We work even harder to keep our partners than we did to earn them initially

The work does not stop when a customer first onboards to our platform. It deepens over time. We partner with operators, listening and learning about real problems, and translate that into solutions that help them succeed in practice. We earn trust through consistent delivery.

We keep the patient downstream of every decision

At the end of the day, this is about the patient. We get there by deeply respecting and reflecting on our purpose: to develop software that aids teams in delivering better care.

Raise the bar on ownership

We grow because people here go beyond the minimum. We invest extra effort, care, and ownership into what we build.

The world is moving fast. We move faster.

This is a race. We work hard, we move early, and we stay ahead of problems and competitors. If we slow down, someone else will pass us.

Radical candor, zero politics

We say what's true, early, and we keep communication direct and clean so the team can move.

Bring good vibes and win together

We win as a team. We bring energy, support each other, and make the workplace somewhere people are excited to show up.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to have a chat!
