Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist

Why FMH
Every day, someone receives a life-changing diagnosis. Getting the right medication should be straightforward - but too often it isn’t.

Specialty medications move through a complex network of providers, health plans, pharmacies, and manufacturers. Administrative delays, disconnected systems, and limited visibility can slow treatment when time matters most.

Free Market Health exists to make that process work better.

Our technology connects stakeholders across the specialty pharmacy ecosystem, helping prescriptions reach the right pharmacy while improving visibility, reducing friction, and keeping treatment moving forward for the patients who depend on them. We focus on the most important stakeholder of all: the patient.

Your impact

As the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at FMH, you will lead end-to-end recruiting across a broad range of functions and levels while helping the company build a differentiated and highly effective hiring experience. You will partner closely with business leaders to attract exceptional talent, strengthen interviewing capabilities, and ensure every candidate and new employee experiences the best of FMH's culture from first conversation through onboarding.

This highly visible role combines strategic talent acquisition leadership with hands-on execution. You will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, champion a scalable recruiting process, and help build the talent foundation that supports FMH's continued growth.

Our team believes the best employee experiences are built through connection, collaboration, and being part of the day-to-day energy of the organization. This role is based at our Pittsburgh headquarters in the heart of the Strip District, where you’ll spend at least four days each week onsite working alongside our employees, leaders, and fellow team members.

And because we want getting to work to be the easy part, parking in the Strip District is fully covered by FMH!

What You’ll Do

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting across technical, operational, professional, and leadership positions. Partner with hiring managers to define talent needs, clarify role requirements, and develop effective sourcing and selection strategies that deliver high-quality hires.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for both current and future hiring needs. Create compelling outreach strategies, strengthen FMH's employer brand, and develop a candidate pitch that brings our mission, culture, and growth story to life.
  • Drive an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance. Conduct candidate assessments, guide hiring decisions, manage offer recommendations and negotiations, and ensure a professional, engaging, and efficient recruiting process.
  • Strengthen interviewing and selection practices across the organization. Serve as a subject matter expert in behavioral interviewing, develop practical tools and resources, facilitate training, and coach leaders on effective candidate evaluation and sound hiring decisions.
  • Own and continually improve the new hire onboarding experience. Lead orientation programs, partner with leaders to establish onboarding best practices, facilitate successful employee integration, and conduct 30 and 90 day check-ins to support early success and engagement.
  • Help shape company culture and employee experience. Collaborate with HR and leadership teams on initiatives that strengthen employee connection, reinforce company values, and improve the overall employee value proposition through insights gathered from candidates and new hires.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Approximately 7+ years of progressive recruiting or talent acquisition experience, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting across multiple disciplines and organizational levels, including difficult-to-fill software engineering, data analytics, and leadership positions.
  • Strong consulting and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility with hiring managers and senior leaders.
  • Experience utilizing behavioral or competency-based interviewing methodologies.
  • Excellent candidate assessment, interviewing, and candidate management capabilities.
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
  • Comfort operating independently in a growing organization and identifying opportunities to improve structure, communication, and recruiting effectiveness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting analytics; Rippling experience is helpful but not required.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed, or rapidly scaling environment.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy benefits, specialty pharmacy, managed care, healthcare technology, or related industries.
  • Experience building scalable recruiting processes, metrics, and talent acquisition programs.
  • Experience managing external search firms or recruiting partners.
