What you will do as a Clinical Director:

• Lead and oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and compassionate care
• Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and Hospice Aides
• Coordinate staffing and patient assignments to ensure continuity and appropriate levels of care
• Partner with the Interdisciplinary Team to support patient-centered care planning and outcomes
• Conduct team meetings, one-on-ones, and performance evaluations to support growth and accountability
• Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation and all state and federal regulations
• Monitor documentation, billing-related records, and clinical practices for accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate with executive and regional leadership to achieve departmental and organizational goals
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing education of nursing staff in partnership with HR and Education teams

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required
• Active, unencumbered Virginia RN license (or compact license with VA conversion within 90 days)
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including:
• • At least 2 years in hospice care
  • At least 2 years in a nursing leadership or management role
• CHPN certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 years)
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, healthcare operations, and clinical best practices
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
• Experience with EMR systems and comfort with technology
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current insurance

Schedule & Benefits:

Schedule: Full-time, primarily Monday–Friday business hours with leadership responsibilities as needed
Benefits: 21 days of PTO in your first year, $.65 per mile mileage reimbursement, company-paid life insurance and long-term disability, medical coverage through an ICHRA model with multiple plan options, and a 401(k) with company match (100% match on the first 3%, 50% match on the next 1%)
