Director of Product (Remote)


Role Summary

Lead the product management team and turn business priorities and student needs into clear product plans.

Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Content, and Marketing to deliver products that support our mission of

making education accessible to all future doctors.



Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, coach, and develop other product managers.
  • Own product strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, and delivery across multiple products.
  • Work closely with the technology team to evaluate feasibility, dependencies, technical tradeoffs, and timelines.
  • Establish clear requirements, success metrics, and accountability for each initiative.
  • Use customer research, product analytics, and experiments to guide decisions.
  • Improve product development processes and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Take responsibility for outcomes, including adoption, engagement, retention, and revenue.



Must-Have Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading product managers—not only managing individual products.
  • Strong technical understanding of software development, APIs, integrations, and data; able to discuss tradeoffs confidently with engineers.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, including clear product documentation and executive communication.
  • A track record of launching and improving digital products with measurable results.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to balance customer needs, business goals, and engineering capacity.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and coordinating across time zones.
  • Strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to resolve disagreements constructively
Preferred
  • Experience in education technology, subscription businesses, or consumer digital products.
  • Experience with experimentation, onboarding, and conversion optimization.
  • Previous engineering experience or a technical educational background.
