About the role

Kaimetrix is seeking a Video Telecommunications Specialist – Level II to support video teleconferencing (VTC) and audio/visual (AV) systems in a secure, mission-critical environment. This role is responsible for performing video operations, supporting troubleshooting activities, and ensuring VTC systems operate at optimal performance while providing user support and training.

What you'll do

  • Perform video capturing and transfer video content to media streaming servers
  • Troubleshoot VTC and conference room equipment and execute repairs or initiate and track trouble tickets
  • Schedule AV/VTC sessions, maintain call schedules, and coordinate conference reservations
  • Provide client consulting and training on the use of audio/visual and VTC systems, including control interfaces and configurations
  • Act as equipment custodian and perform inventory asset management and accountability functions
  • Ensure VTC and conference room systems operate at optimal performance and capacity
  • Assist in resolving technical issues to maintain continuity of services and support mission operations

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in video telecommunications, technical support, or related roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Certifications:

  • CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+

Clearance:

  • Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain
