The Role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer / Technical Lead who owns the technical delivery of complex enterprise AI deployments end-to-end, embedded with customers, writing code to solve their hardest problems, building integrations, and debugging real-world issues, while simultaneously setting the standards your team builds to and making the engineers around you significantly better.

You bring deep technical expertise alongside a genuine ability to empathise with customers, understand their business challenges, and apply AI to solve problems that improve how they operate. You are as comfortable whiteboarding a solution with a customer's engineering team as you are translating that solution into business outcomes for their stakeholders.

Based out of our Hyderabad offices, you will lead distributed delivery teams working across US and remote geographies, coordinating across time zones to drive enterprise deployments from kickoff to production.

What You Will Do

·       Solve Hard Problems at Scale: Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their most complex technical challenges, integration bottlenecks, scaling constraints, multi-system orchestration, and architect solutions from the ground up.

·       Hands-On Architecture and Engineering: Design, prototype, and implement solutions using the Kore.ai Agent Platform. Write code, build integrations, optimize performance, and debug production issues. You're not just drawing architecture diagrams, you're building the system.

·       Customer Architect Engagement: Serve as the primary technical contact for customer engineering leads and senior architects. Lead design reviews, present architecture decisions, and establish trust as the delivery team's go-to technical authority.

·       Customer-Facing Technical Leadership: Lead technical workshops, design sessions, and proof-of-concept implementations in close coordination with Solution Architects on strategic accounts. Translate complex AI capabilities into clear business value for customer engineering teams and technical stakeholders.

·       Bridge Product and Customer Reality: Act as the critical feedback loop between what customers need and what our platform delivers. Influence product roadmap with real-world insights from enterprise deployments.

·       Scale What Works: Document solution patterns, create reusable architectures, and build technical assets that enable the broader team and partner ecosystem to replicate success.

·       Support Strategic Deals: Assist Solution Architects in high-value sales engagements, building custom demos, contributing to architecture assessments, and de-risking complex implementations from a delivery perspective.

What We Are Looking For

Must Have

 

·       7+ years of hands-on engineering experience in enterprise software, platform engineering, or solutions engineering, with a proven track record of solving complex customer problems through hands-on technical delivery.

·       Deep expertise in Generative AI and LLM-based development, including RAG implementations, prompt engineering, and agentic AI applications. Proven ability to build production-grade GenAI solutions that solve real enterprise problems.

·       Hands-on experience designing and building multi-agent orchestration systems using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or the Kore.ai Agent Platform.

·       Practical experience with LLM guardrails and responsible AI controls, implementing safety, content filtering, and output validation in enterprise deployments.

·       Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks, running evals to measure accuracy, hallucination, latency, and task performance, alongside working knowledge of MCP servers and tool-use patterns for connecting LLMs to external data sources and APIs.

·       Track record of working with large enterprise customers (Fortune 500 / Global 2000), translating complex technical concepts for both engineering teams and senior stakeholders, and earning trust through delivery and technical depth.

·       Demonstrated experience leading a team of engineers technically and in terms of delivery accountability, setting standards, mentoring developers, and owning outcomes end-to-end across customer engagements.

·       Strong architecture instincts: you can evaluate competing approaches, articulate trade-offs clearly, and make defensible decisions under pressure.

·       Deep proficiency across APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.

·       Proven track record of owning end-to-end technical delivery on complex enterprise projects, from scoping through production.

·       Strong customer-facing skills: you can lead a difficult architecture discussion with a customer's senior technical team and earn their trust.

Expertise in Voice AI and Customer Experience platforms — deep understanding of voice call automation, IVR modernization, speech-to-text/text-to-speech pipelines, telephony integrations (SIP/WebRTC), and end-to-end voice bot architectures in enterprise contact center environments.

Education

·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.

·       Master’s degree or equivalent depth of expertise preferred but not required — we value demonstrated capability over credentials.
