ASX listed company Korvest Ltd operates as Korvest Galvanising and EzyStrut. EzyStrut is Australia’s market leader in cable and pipe support systems and Korvest Galvanising, processes structural steel and components for both internal and external customers. Together we operate from our Kilburn, SA head office, servicing a national branch network of warehouses and sales teams.

The engineering team behind our products is central to our continued reputation as market leader. We’re looking for an experienced BIM professional ready to take the next step, leading a small, capable team while staying hands-on with the technical work you’re great at.

Your new role:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead a small team of three BIM Modellers/Draftspersons while remaining actively involved in technical delivery. You will take the lead on team coordination, client meetings and quality assurance while remaining an active contributor alongside an experienced team. This is a role where your technical expertise is as valued as your ability to bring out the best in the people around you.

You will be based at our Kilburn head office, where manufacturing, galvanising, warehouse and engineering teams support a national network.

What you will do:

• Oversee the quality and accuracy of models, drawings and assemblies produced by the team
• Produce and manage 3D Revit models and 2D manufacturing/assembly drawings
• Represent the engineering team in client meetings with sales staff, translating customer needs into practical design solutions and demonstrating the technical depth behind EzyStrut's product offering
• Interpret and communicate design intent effectively across engineering and production teams
• Support the Engineering Manager with product design, engineering and certification
• Drive continuous improvement in drawing standards, workflows and BIM processes
• Coordinate team workload and priorities to meet project and production deadlines

You will bring:

• Proven experience in BIM modelling and drafting within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Proficiency in Revit (essential); SolidWorks or Inventor experience is highly desirable
• Experience leading a small team, or a clear readiness to step into this responsibility
• A solid understanding of general manufacturing processes and how they are communicated in drawings
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to drawing accuracy and quality
• The ability to coordinate workloads and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams

We are particularly interested in applicants who also bring:

• A mechanical trade background and/or
• Hands-on workshop or manufacturing experience
