Retail Sales Ambassador

Guaranteed Hourly Pay + Uncapped Commissions

About the Role

LINQ is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Representative to join our growing team. We are committed to fostering an exceptional agency culture and are excited to offer both **full-time and part-time opportunities** in the Greater Toronto, Hamilton, Niagara and Kitchener areas**. As a Retail Sales Representative you will promote our client's financial products in various settings, including retail environments, fuel-centers, malls, and events. Your primary responsibility will be to engage and educate customers about our client's products, ensuring they meet the customers' needs and ultimately enrolling and encouraging their utilization. Most events will take place in a collaborative team environment.

This position offers guaranteed hourly pay plus uncapped commissions, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy customer interaction and are motivated by performance-based earnings.

  • Customer Engagement: Proactively approach and engage customers in a friendly, professional, and confident manner
  • Needs Discovery: Ask thoughtful questions to understand customer goals and financial needs
  • Product Education: Clearly explain product features, benefits, and rewards
  • Value Communication: Demonstrate how products provide real value and fit customer lifestyles
  • Customer Experience: Deliver a positive, respectful, and informative experience every interaction
  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training and stay informed on product updates
  • Reporting: Accurately track customer interactions and sales activity

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset)
  • Sales or customer-facing experience preferred (retail, hospitality, promotions, or direct sales)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident, outgoing, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
  • Flexible availability (evenings and weekends required for events)
