Job Description – Junior Project Manager


Purpose of Role

The Junior Project Manager will support project leadership at all stages and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure successful completion.

The ideal candidate will be IT proficient with a construction background, leadership potential, and the ability to travel across our sites in Europe.

*This role requires international travel for up to 75% of working time to support overseas project delivery*


Responsibilities of Role

  • Support project team through complex and high-value projects.
  • Assist with developing project plans, timelines and resource allocations and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal staff to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery.
  • Provide regular updates to Project Manager and Regional Manager.
  • Supervise work, ensuring tasks are performed in compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and Health and Safety legislation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Support in preparing reports on project status, performance metrics, and financial aspects.


Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience within the construction or electrical industry.
  • Knowledge of lightning protection systems, earthing, or surge protection is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Client relationship experience desirable.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations related to construction and electrical installations.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as German Dutch, French, or Spanish would be advantageous but not required.
