What you'll do

Lending Science is seeking a Reporting Analyst with strong SAS/WPS skills who can understand code, troubleshoot when necessary and is capable of working independently to produce accurate results. The Reporting Analyst will play a role in various facets of business. Responsibilities include:


  • Function as a key member within the business unit, capable of identifying meaningful connections in data, identifying trends, and suggesting insights in support of business decisions
  • Understanding business needs for data and translating into data specifications 
  • Execute data cleansing and processing of reporting data for client reporting 
  • Validation and QA data used for reporting and campaign optimization to detect errors at an early stage 
  • Identify trends in data and conduct thorough quality assurance testing, including reconciliation with source systems to ensure accuracy  
  • Providing ad-hoc and production reporting for various marketing clients across channels 
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Analysts to collect data for creating and tailoring client reporting programs

  • Partner with Analyst/Subject Matter Expert to refine future reporting requests. 
  • Build and maintain new and existing tableau reports 
  • Strong ability to understand WPS/SAS code and be able to troubleshoot issues and maintain/enhance code repository and document code enhancements/changes 
  • Execute campaign performance reporting on a weekly/daily basis across various marketing channels and clients

Who You Are

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science/ Data Analytics, Statistics, or other relevant degree(s) 
  • 3+ years in SAS, Tableau, SQL 
  • Strong ability to write, troubleshoot and optimize code and scripting in SAS and SQL 
  • Strong ability to build reports using Tableau 
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines 
  • Credit and/or credit bureau knowledge desired 
  • Self-starter with the ability to effectively prioritize workload, execute tasks while under pressure, and communicate timing and challenges 
  • Strong listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills 
  • Having basic/ intermediate SQL knowledge is a plus
