Careers at Maplesoft

AI GTM and Automation Specialist

We are looking for a hands-on, technically curious AI GTM & Automation Specialist to improve how we generate, identify, engage and convert prospects using AI, automation and data.

This is an AI-first Go-to-Market (GTM) role, not a traditional digital marketing position. We value your ability to build practical solutions and improve business results more than a long marketing track record.

You will work closely with Marketing and Sales to improve targeting, campaigns and team productivity. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, testing new approaches and turning useful experiments into reliable workflows. This role improves how the team works.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI & Automation: Build, test and document AI tools, agents and workflows that reduce manual work and improve marketing and sales productivity.
  • Lead & Account Intelligence: Use CRM data, engagement signals and account research to identify and prioritize prospects. Improve targeting, lead scoring and personalization.
  • Campaign & Digital Optimization: Use AI to improve campaign preparation, content, email messaging and website conversion. Improve visibility in search engines and AI-generated answers through SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO).
  • Marketing Technology Integration: Connect AI tools with Salesforce and outbound sales and marketing platforms using automation tools, APIs and other approved integrations.
  • Performance Analysis: Track campaign results, conversion, follow-up speed and time saved. Use data to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Collaboration & Implementation: Identify workflow needs, prototype solutions and drive implementation with Marketing, Sales and existing technical teams. Use shared co-op support for research, data preparation and testing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Prioritize high-value opportunities, run focused experiments and improve workflows based on results and sales feedback. Document what works for others to repeat.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience building practical solutions with generative AI, AI agents and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar platforms.
  • Experience building workflows with tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of CRM systems, data flows and APIs. Experience with Salesforce and/or sales and marketing platforms is an asset.
  • Understanding of business-to-business marketing, lead generation, website analytics, SEO or AI search optimization, with a willingness to learn unfamiliar areas.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Comfort working with data and testing the accuracy and reliability of AI outputs.
  • Ability to learn independently, prioritize work and turn ideas into working solutions. Responsible handling of company and customer information.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, including explaining technical ideas in simple terms.
  • Post secondary education or experience in AI, computer science, data analytics, digital marketing or a related field.
