About Mytra:
We’re creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We’re focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.
About the role:
As a NPI Materials Program Manager at Mytra, you will join our Manufacturing team during a period of significant growth and product development. Our team is currently focused on development of our next generation Mytra system, and we need a driven program manager to own whether our builds can actually happen, with the right parts, at the right quality, at the right time. We move fast, learn as we go, and iterate quickly, and that pace only works with robust processes underneath it to keep small misses from becoming big downstream problems.
What you’ll do:
- Own program-level clear-to-build - At any moment you know whether the next build can happen and you're already working to unblock the things that would stop it
- Get ahead of supply risk - Drive program level supplier and internal supply-chain readiness to achieve clear-to-build and quality
- Build the signal - Develop the processes, dashboards, and systems with Supply Chain, Materials and Quality teams, that give the whole organization one clear, current read on material readiness, and report material status clearly at both the program and executive level
- Own the materials side of every change - Manage the material impact of all ECOs end to end: assess it, drive it to completion, and keep the program team current on what's changing and what it means for the build
- Clear issues before they reach the line - Drive cross-functional resolution of sourcing and incoming-inspection problems. Containment first, then RCCA to keep them closed
- Build for scale - Partner across the Operations org to develop the materials and supply-chain processes, tooling, and infrastructure that scale with the business, building durable capability rather than one-off fixes for the build in front of you
Ideal Candidates:
- Have proven experience with program-level clear-to-build and materials readiness for complex hardware - 5-8+ years on large, multi-hundred-line BOMs, taken through E/D/PVT into ramp
- Have deep working knowledge of supplier and supply-chain readiness, FAI/PPAP, incoming quality (IQC), the materials and cost impact of ECOs, and the PLM/ERP/MRP systems that run it
- Have built materials or supply-readiness processes and systems from near-scratch, not just operated within established ones; You’re familiar with manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and component sourcing
- Demonstrate relentless anticipation and ownership - you see problems weeks out and drive resolution across teams, and you want to help shape the function in a fast-moving startup, pivoting as you learn
- Have a BS in Supply Chain, Industrial / Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, and bring startup speed with real process discipline
Nice to have:
- Experience supporting a transition to contract manufacturing, including handing off suppliers, open orders, and risk-buys
- Hands-on time with robotics, warehouse automation, or other complex electromechanical hardware
- Background working shortage and clear-to-build through high ECO churn in an early-stage hardware environment
A Final Note:
If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply — even if you don’t check every box. At Mytra, we build bots, but we hire humans. We value thoughtful challengers who communicate with clarity and respect, and we’re lifelong learners committed to getting better every day. We move fast, learn faster, and show up for each other under pressure. The best outcomes come from diverse perspectives working together to build something meaningful and built to last.
