Novuskin Group Applicant Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Novuskin Group and its affiliated locations collects when you apply for a job with us, how we use it, and who we share it with. By submitting an application, you're agreeing to the practices described here.

What we collect

When you apply, we may collect:

Contact details — name, address, email, phone number
Resume and application details — work history, education, licenses and certifications, skills, references, and anything else you include
Screening information — interview notes, assessment results, and, for finalists, background check and reference check results (with your separate consent where required)
Eligibility information — work authorization status and, if hired, identity documents needed for I-9 purposes
Voluntary information — anything you choose to share, such as demographic data for equal-opportunity reporting (always optional and never used in hiring decisions)

Where it comes from

Most of this comes directly from you. We may also receive information from recruiters, job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.), references you provide, background check providers, and publicly available professional profiles.

How we use it

We use your information to:

Review your application and decide whether to move forward
Communicate with you about openings and your application status
Verify qualifications, licenses, and work authorization
Conduct background and reference checks where applicable
Consider you for other roles you may be a fit for
Meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations
Onboard you if you're hired

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for marketing.

Who we share it with

Our internal team involved in hiring — managers, HR, and leadership
Service providers that help us recruit and onboard, such as our HR/payroll platform (Rippling), applicant tracking and job board vendors, and background check providers. These vendors only use your data to provide services to us.
Government agencies, courts, or regulators when required by law
A successor business if Novuskin Group is ever sold or merged

How long we keep it

If you're hired, your application becomes part of your employee file. If you're not, we keep application records for up to two years so we can consider you for future openings and meet recordkeeping requirements, then delete or anonymize them. If you'd rather we not keep your information on file, let us know and we'll remove it sooner unless the law requires us to keep it.

How we protect it

We limit access to people who need it for hiring, use vendors with reasonable security controls, and store records on password-protected systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

Tell you what information we have about you
Correct anything that's inaccurate
Delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
Stop contacting you about future openings

You can also withdraw your application at any time. Some information is required to consider you for a role, so declining to provide it may mean we can't move forward.
